Stayed at this lovely hotel on Saturday night. The staff were all lovely and helpful. There were a couple of issues with our room (Room 11) the shower over the bath did not work properly it need at the very minimum a new shower head but the pressure was poor and water too hot. The bathroom needs a refurb really. The room and the bed were lovely and comfortable 5 star. The breakfast was very good. All in all a very good hotel in a great location.

Family birthday lunch. Good food and decent service. One annoyance which is by no means unique to this venue. Food (in my case roast beef) arrived before condiments, so forced to wait until waiting staff available to be asked, go and get them then bring them back. I will never understand why so many venues do this; just deal with it before the food arrives!

We hosted our Son’s engagement last Sunday with an afternoon tea and the party was a great success. Beautiful settings, the food and reception drinks were delicious, real English charm. Staff very accommodating and polite. We stayed overnight with our dog and it was also very pleasant with a very good breakfast.
Can’t wait for another occasion to take place there, highly recommend.

We have had dinners here on a Valentine’s day and Birthdays. It is one of our favourites as it is located in a beautiful part of Enfield and I always like it as I feel like I have been transported to a gorgeous English countryside when I am here. The restaurant has a talented pianist and I love the ambience it brings. Service is professional and good quality.

My only concern is that when you email them of a concern that you have and I have done this twice, nobody returns and responds to emails which I find it discourteous and unprofessional.

Another wonderful stay at West Lodge Park and this time it was 3 nights over the Christmas period. A special thank you to all the amazing staff in every part of the hotel. You worked so hard and always with a smile on your face. We had a very merry time and can't wait to return in March. Happy New Year

What a lovely setting for a family afternoon tea for my Grandmothers 94th birthday. The tea and cake selection was fantastic and the view out onto the grounds was equally special. We had two young children with us who had their own selection of sandwiches, cakes and a choice of milkshakes. The pianist added subtle but perfect music and special thanks to Lisa on the desk who helped us both before and after our afternoon tea. Will certainly be visiting again, hopefully on a sunny day to walk off all our cakes and enjoy the surrounding grounds.

We booked afternoon tea for my mother's 96 birthday .When ordering what hot drink we wanted we were a party if 4. My sister does not drink tea or coffee,she ordered drinking chocolate so did my mother.The waiter did not say that would be extra to the afternoon tea.when paying the bill and we were charged nearly £12.00 for two hot chocolates. The cost of the afternoon tea was just under £40.00 each.it was such a shock how much extra it was the waiter should have said at the time this is not part of the afternoon tea cost, very disappointed

My husband and I arrived for the Bee Gees evening, which he booked as a surprise, and as we were walking through the hotel, we didn’t receive a single word of greeting until the restaurant. We passed reception and the receptionist was just glued to her mobile telephone and the cleaner simply ignored us. ||The food and service in the restaurant was lovely; there was a short delay between courses but I understand you were very busy. James and Michelle were efficient and professional, but warm and welcoming. ||Our main gripe of the evening was the atrocious music. The whole night we had your pianist, who is fantastic in that area, attempting to sing - meaning, screeching and screaming - hits from the Bee Gees. Nothing was in tune, the volume was too high, and the vocals were the worst I’ve ever heard. The only people cheering appeared to be his family, as both tables either side of me complained also. ||Not only did we have to content with your pianist, but also we had whom I believe to be his father, even worse than he was! He acted as though he was a superstar, despite being dreadful. We asked if these events had been held before and, to our surprise, we were told yes! How this can be permitted in such a hi class establishment, I do not know. ||We were extremely disappointed with the evening, as we’d expected professional vocalists who at least knew the words to the songs and could hit some notes - not the atrocity experienced last night.||We are unlikely to rerun and tried to contact the hotel directly to raise these comments.
