I felt very looked after. The team were very knowledgeable and everything felt organised. I had an overnight stay after surgery and never felt like I wasn't in good hands. I especially appreciated the encouragement to get up and move and get showered, which really helped my mindset moving forward.

So grateful for the care my son received from the wonderful nurses of Acorn ward. Our amazing nurse today was Natalie, who showed such care and really helped ease my little one’s worries! Even made his day with a lovely teddy bear lion and a certificate for bravery! Sarah and Cara both helped with his observations and helped calm nerves for us parents with reassurance also.

Thank you so much for being so great and helping with what can be such a daunting experience for anyone let alone a child- be seamless.

I received exceptional care throughout my procedure yesterday. Thank you to the whole team, particularly Mr Stoker, nurse Grace and nurse Randall who looked after me. Amazing staff. The hospital is very clean and rooms are big. Food was delicious. Teas and coffee always available.

My experience with Circle - Kings Oak Hospital has been deeply disappointing. There seems to be a complete lack of regard for patients. The staff appear uninformed when advising on MRI bookings, leading to confusion and frustration. When the MRI machine broke down, I was only informed at the last minute, and the appointment was rescheduled without proper notice. On arriving for the new appointment, I was told the MRI had been moved to a different location—again, without prior communication.

It’s hard not to wonder about the double standards here. If a patient caused this level of inconvenience, they would likely face charges. This situation reminded me of a Radio 4 program that highlighted issues within Circle, particularly regarding their treatment of staff. It raises the question: is this disorganized service the result of internal incentives or a deeper systemic issue? Unfortunately my journey with them is not over yet .
