Honestly. I’ve just read some of the poor reviews. I’ve lived in Cuffley for 30 years and this GP practice is great. The receptionists are always doing their best. Try being one for a week if you want to understand what they face. Nothing is perfect but I find everyone there kind and considerate. If only patients would be too.

Unfortunately I find this GP very unprofessional and careless.
You arrive to an appointment and check yourself in and sit there waiting, When you ask if the appointments are running behind after waiting for 20 minutes they say “yes you have 3 people in front of you”.

I just find it very rude that they allow patients/babies to sit there for over an hour waiting for their appointment.
If they know appointments are running over time then they should call/ text letting patients know.
Even more so instead of them having you sit there waiting they should respectfully say “just to let you know there is a delay with your appointment sorry”
Instead they carelessly brush it off and assume we have all the time in the world.

This GP definitely needs some monitoring.

I have recently had a brilliant experience with both Cuffley Surgery and Valley View. The receptionists have been very kind and helpful, the nurses are lovely & understanding and I have had no problem getting appointments. I have mainly seen Dr. Thapa who has been so thorough and helped me through a bad time. If you are polite and kind to the the staff, they will respond accordingly.

The care is good if you can ever get an appointment. They refuse to book you an appointment unless you call at 8am, are very lucky and if your issue is suitably serious. Ridiculous. A gp should be able to manage the capacity of the people they treat, which evidently cuffley gp cannot do. This problem will get worse with all the new builds coming in which is worrying

Myself and my partner would just like to thank the doctors and staff at Cuffley for our fast referrals and follow up on results especially as I went into my appointment with a big list of issues. It is difficult to get through to the practice on the telephone due to the high demand but when you do manage to get an appointment it is fantastic service, so thank you, we appreciate it!

I would like to thank Dr Davenport for the care, attention and kindness she showed when I had an appointment in October. Her advice helped me to get my finger better. Thank you very much.

The old ladies on reception are just to old for the job, they are so slow and painful, especially the bovine looking one with the short grey hair, not only rude but her shadow is faster than her.
Retire all the old ones.
