Staff are exceptional here. Everyone says hello and smiles. It's like a friendly environment. My Dad is really taken care of. It can't be easy at all and I'm grateful there are people willing to do this caring profession.

A lovely super bright home with so much going on. Music playing, residents dancing and enjoying the Christmas light switch on with mulled wine and mince pies. Great team spirit.

I visited the home recently to visit a relative. I was met in reception by people laughing and having afternoon tea. All the residents were stroking pets and having such a great afternoon. There was Irish music playing and staff and residents were clearly having a ball. Unfortunately my relative was too poorly to be involved in this but it was so refreshing to see.

The care my mum received at this care home was disgusting. Mum is unable to feed herself or drink without assistance following the stroke and bleeding on the brain. They didn’t care for her as they should have. Never gave her water, lead to her being dehydrated, didn’t give her enough food, she had malnutrition. Didn’t listen to the family when we told them she wasn’t well. GP came 6 days ago and called an ambulance. She is still in hospital. 4 safeguarding orders in place. I submitted one so did the paramedics that took her to hospital. The Ward doctor also submitted a safeguarding order, most importantly so did one of the care home staff. This place needs to be investigated throughly. There are many more patients in there not getting the care they need.
High turnover of staff, not qualified to look after stroke patients. Too many changes of management that have no idea how to run a care home!
