Shocking and disgraceful. This week I was asked to take a photo of the groin of a 92 year old friend (rash, due to onset of incontinence and a request for prescription for a cream) and send it via the Internet on the surgery website. No way would I do this. She has full mental capacity (even if not, I would still not do it). Would the doctor concerned take a photo of his/her mother and do this? I doubt it. Fortunately carers were able to confirm rash had not spread and was clearing, no soreness. Lady is totally housebound, extremely poor mobility and has had no GP contact for many years. OT and myself requested prescription for Fortysips on Monday. Still not done. Lady is now in hospital.

Dr Matin is excellent but it seems the reception is either svagleybundermanned or just don't care . Been on hold/ phone ringing out for best part of 2 hours been cut off without answering . This is the second time I've contacted them in about a year and had the same result .
I tested positive for covid and just wanted advice but there only advice is to not attend the surgery. Absolutely gone to pot .!

I'm not one for complaining, I'm not one for even contacting the Doctors at all. But every time I ring for an appointment, I get disregarded that I can't have an appointment, even after waiting half hour for someone to actually answer the phone. You can be number 1 in the queue and it takes half hour.

I've been in the doctors waiting for the midwife, phone just rings whilst everyone just ignores it except the nurse! She's lovely. I've watched her come out her office into the reception and answer the phone! Practice is always empty.

I rang 2 weeks ago to ask if I could have a doctor's appointment due to my 5 week old not pooing for 9 days I get told "we can't see you ring 111" I then had to get childcare for my daughter and take my newborn up to hospital for 2 hours just to be prescribed laxatives. In which the hospital couldn't understand why my doctors couldn't of just done that.

It is the 28th of June I then have ring for an emergency appointment because my daughter has been poorly all week but I've been reluctant to ring as I know I'll be fobbed off. But today she a rash has completely covered her legs in the space of 10 minutes! I know I'll get angry if I ring but I had to...to be told the next "emergency" available appointment is 8th July?! How on earth is that an emergency?!?

This practice is failing to supply an accurate duty of care! They've sent me to hospital with a newborn when I needed a 5-minute appointment and now refusing to see my 3-year-old. So that's a newborn and a 3-year-old in the space of 2 weeks! It's damn right disgusting when I know I will be in and out in 5 minutes. Like I was at Christmas when they tried to refuse me to see a doctor at 36 weeks pregnant with Strep A. It was only because I was actually in the practice and my midwife at the time demanded I saw a doctor. I wasn't even in the room 5 minutes and I got my antibiotics.

As a mom of 2 I or anyone else should have to go through this distress for simply wanting my children to see a doctor! The Doctors and nurse are lovely. But it's not worth being spoken to like your the Inconvenience by the staff.

They say they are "overrun' yet it's always empty and the staff are always sat round having a chat...and there online NHS page states "there taking on new patients" don't waste your time! They refuse to see the ones they already have.

Been here my whole life and there service now is despicable.

I would like to say a big thank you to Muhammad Javed who supported me obtaining a same day telephone appointment with a doctor when pressures were very high. He did not just dismiss my concerns (as some of the previous receptionists), instead, he went the extra mile to speak with the doctor and fit an appointment in for me. He was empathetic and evidently valued patient care. The other new receptionists are also very lovely and support as best as they can.
Thank you to all doctors and other staff for their help as well!

15/04/2024.... I have been calling the surgery from 10.30am until 6.30pm. I'm in a lot of pain in my lower back and was hoping the GP could prescribe something for me. I was in extremely large queues every time I called, to finally getting put through to reception ..... No-one answered my call. I made nine calls throughout the day and had the same response. Absolutely disgraceful. If there has been a problem at the surgery, then why didn't they put it on the answer machine instead of wasting peoples time. It's seems to me that no-one cares about the patients.

Shocking in the last 2 years. Have been with the practice for 10 years and have always had good things to say. The change in reception staff, the arrogance of them at times is shocking. The new guy who answers the phones is just not suited to the job, lack of process or common sense. On more than one occasion he has told us one thing put us on hold without warning and then told us something else.
We have been told that no drs take appointments from 11 until at least 2 as they supposedly do admin at the same time and then go home for a 1 and half / 2 hour lunch, at the same time! Who scheduled this Honestly feel so let down by my last few experiences here patients are definitely not put first.
I feel sorry for the other staff on reception who have to pick up after this guy.
