The one star I have given is extremely generous due to the extortionate fee required to purchase a yazoo, perchance. The item was listed at 50 pence, yet perchance I got scammed and actually costed £1.49!🤦‍♂️

Fortunately my bank account was spared due to the £3.00 minimum spend. What a soulless establishment demanding £3.00 during a cost of living crisis smh🤦‍♂️.

They also had underage workers who should still be in their pram or watching coco melon and said worker even viscously assaulted my fellow customer.

Overall poor service but the background music was a bop.

Slight language barrier but upmost respect to them helping our fragile economy. Overall left a lingering poor impression of hackleton that the locals should be disappointed in.

In my humble opinion I believe the people of hackleton have been extorted and considering that is their only shop poses real question to local government.

Due to the poor conditions at the shop, many locals are forced to drive into Northampton for their weekly groceries, thus contributing to climate change and the end of the world as we know it.

Read this:
I came in yesterday, midway through a Triathlon event. I had no phone or money on me, just an ask for some Ibuprofen, as my friend was really struggling halfway round the course with knee pain. The lady at the counter didn't have to help, but she did, and kindly gave us a pack for free. Without that act of kindness our day would have been a lot lot worse. So nice to see true generosity still exists amongst strangers 🙂

The shop is OK and has some useful items. The lady in the shop is quite nice,but guy who is usually in the post office is a total grump, speaking only for essential information and usually saying nothing at all or making low level grunt-like noises if spoken to, he is really rather rude! If you aren't pressed for time I would recommend going to Bradfield post office, the ladies there are the complete opposite, absolutely lovely people.

Recently the shop has seemed to have a complete transformation. Everything is incredibly well organised and the young lady that works behind the till is friendly, bubbly and outgoing; a credit to the shop and the community.
