I have always spoken highly of Wordsley Green Surgery, but the wait times for appointments recently have become completely unacceptable. Every single appointment runs excessively late, and my past three appointments have been delayed by 58 minutes, 35 minutes, and most recently, 1 hour and 3 minutes (11 Feb). While I understand that medical emergencies can arise, this is a consistent issue, not an occasional exception.

Despite regularly providing feedback when asked, nothing ever changes. To make matters worse, there are no updates from reception staff while patients wait indefinitely. If I arrived this late to an appointment, I wouldn’t be seen—so why is it acceptable for patients to be kept waiting without explanation?

This level of service is frustrating and needs urgent attention. Patients deserve better communication and reasonable waiting times.

Also to add to my review, I followed the feedback and complaints link within the website and it advised I can only use it between 8am-10am so waited until 8am only to find its an inactive form. Absolutely unbelievable!

I have had a couple of telephone calls with Dr Mavi..lovely Dr very polite and knowledgeable didn't feel rushed by him..made me feel valued..with that experience I have had with this surgery cannot fault them

I have been with this surgery for 30 years. I've seen doctors come and go but the current doctors and reception staff are extremely helpful. Dr Mavi persuaded me to try the Inclisirin injection to reduce my high cholesterol and also added a daily Bempodoic tablet. My cholesterol has reduced by 50%. He is a very pleasant and friendly doctor who puts you at ease

States in the contact us section, you can contact via email. What is this? not listed, not good for people trrying to request elderly neighbours prescription when the website wont submit!!

The doctors are brilliant but the receptionist are rude, condescending and unenthusiastic.
Being told by a Receptionist to go and "google it" isn't really what you expect from a doctor's practice and the wait times are ridiculous, 45 minute wait after my appointment time pretty much every time I have an appointment, Not Impressed.

I never get listened to by the doctors, they never give me access to information I ask for and they send me random diagnoses that make 0 sense with my symptoms. Then they switch it up and say its to do with my weight, my stress and my diet. A highly fatphobic surgery.

I have been told over the phone that I had a high chance of Crohns, but then the next appointment it is disregarded. Been informed recently that all my issues are to do with stress. The stress is THEM! Had gone down hill as soon as Dr Oliver was no longer associated with the surgery. Thank god I have left the surgery.

On arrival to the doctors today I was very worried and stressed. I saw a lovely lady called Dr Owolabi who put my mind at rest and reassured me that everything would be okay. She was so helpful and thorough not like the other doctors that I have seen prior. To my surprise she’s only a trainee doctor and will only be at Wordsley Green for a short while but I will definitely be booking in with her while she is there.

The doctors are always attentive and friendly... and really communicate well during and after appointments. Reception staff let the surgery down unfortunately they can be generally unfriendly on front desk and abrupt even when approached with a warm attitude. Let's the surgery down sadly.
