Was my biggest mistake getting registered in this surgery. Its just a horrible experience each time i visit. The customer services is awful right from the receptionist all the way to the practice manager if you end up getting in touch with her. I have made a complain to the NHS complaints line which is called PALS lets see their response. anyone had a bad experience there please do make a complaint on PALS (google their contact details)

I had a chest X-ray on the 7th at RVI . On The 19th I hadn't heard back and wanted to get an answer as my debilitating symptoms are ongoing. I can't get an appointment so all I can do is call in.receprion told me they didn't have them. I was told to ask the RVI myself, so I did and they confirmed they had successfully sent them on the 9th. So I called back and was told they had to be "downloaded" and to call back on 20th. Nothing. I called back today, 21st, still not downloaded as the doctor, and I quote "can't find time in between appointments". I'm now asked to call back on the 22nd , 13 days after confirmed delivery. Shame on you doctor.and I've been nothing but lovely on the phone and composed exactly as you ask your patients to be. I'm desperate to know if I'm sitting on a horrible condition as the symptoms are getting worse. Truly shame on you.

The nurse and one of the doctors is lovely but It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. I suffer from debilitating migraines and struggled for weeks to even see a doctor face to face. Two referrals were rejected as they had prescribed me medication I told them I wasn't willing to take, and after over a year of No help what so ever and being refused blood tests to help diagnose deficiencies that may be causing my crippling symptoms, I was told "there are no know deficiencies related to migraines ". I paid to go private. I had a 15 minute consultation at the Nuffield centre with a neurologist and was told to try B2 from Holland and Barrett as I displayed all signs of a B2 issue and I havnt had a migraine or single symptom since. He told me the medication they had prescribed at this clinic arnt even used to treat migraines. What a joke.

My experience at Dilston Medical Practice was rather mixed. While the clinicians were undoubtedly lovely and knowledgeable, unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the receptionists. Their demeanor often came across as rude and unapproachable, which was disappointing. During a particularly difficult time when I needed urgent help for a health crisis, I found the appointment booking process to be frustratingly slow. Despite my urgent need, I couldn't secure a timely appointment, which left me feeling unsupported. It's a shame because the clinicians themselves were fantastic, but the flawed booking system and lack of empathy from the reception staff ultimately led me to transfer to another practice. I hope they can improve their customer service and booking procedures in the future for the sake of their patients.

A couple of GPs are great, but you can NEVER get an app. Im so glad i moved Gps and now i can get an app comfortably. They need to improve their appointment system. They gave my dad a letter to make an app to discuss results. Been trying for 30mins over 76 calls and yet still busy. Once i get through they’ll say all appointments are gone. Its dangerous for patients who are really vulnerable and at risk. They need to improve!

This practice is very bad for getting an appointment. You get told to call at 8.30am, but can't get through until after 9am. I called constantly over 100 times yesterday and this morning to try to make a appointment for my friend as he has got a really bad chest, to be told yesterday there were no appointments and to go to the walk in centre. We went to the walk in centre to be told its appointment only and nobody would check him. Called again this morning to again be told there were no appointments left. This is not the first time it's happened it's everytime you try to see a doctor it's the same problem. The receptionists are not helpful and everytime you visit the practice they are too busy talking in the other room, you have to stand and wait at the desk for a while before they come over. Overall this practice has gone down hill over the years and I will be changing to a different surgery as soon possible.

Phone the doctors for my daughter the lady receptionist said that there was no appointments left so she suggested me to phone 111 and I did and they manage to give me a phone call appointment with the gp. They LIE! also if you phone at half 8 and they answer within 1 minute somehow there no appointment left.
