Personally, I find it hard to fault Wychbury Medical Centre. Yes , you do have to be on your phone at the strike of 8am to get an appointment, and most of the time I get one. The receptionists are really helpful and try their best to fit a time that works for me and when not, they have suggestions.
Waiting time is variable, I assume it's down to highest priority and how long each consultation takes. If waiting bothers you take a book, watch YouTube on your phone, listen to a podcast, knit an hat, jumper etc. (if you're able to) but be prepared for a wait when they are under pressure. If you don't like waiting you can leave (tell reception) and book another appointment. The only problem I find is getting my prescriptions repeated. Lots of time I go to my pharmacist and they are still waiting for confirmation. Aside from that I wouldn't move to another.

This doctor was very uncaring and wanted to hurry up and get me out as if he was rushing me, I gave him my urine sample and he didn't test it he just left it on the sink so I still didn't know whether he tested it or not, he did not seem to have any time for me and didn't seem to want to listen to what I was saying about my illness, I felt I was basically ignored. There was no care at all.

"This is absolutely a joke. Two weeks ago, I booked an online phone consultation. Today, the doctor called me at least 45 minutes later than my appointment time. Just as I was about to pick up the phone to answer, the call ended. I called back the reception, and the lady was nice to me and said she would inform the doctor that I had called. So I waited almost two hours, and then I received a call that lasted one second. I didn't even have time to pick up my phone. It looks like the doctor can't be bothered."

Ring up 3 days in a row at around 8, never got an appointment! On the website only smear test or phone call appointment for 5 weeks later are available. Unbelievable in 21st century you can’t make an appointment online for the next day or a few days later.

Absolute joke! You can't make an appointment online! only over the phone and only for the current day! which is never available even if you call at 8am. Apparently doctors loved the way they worked during covid so they're still trying to stick to it, only phone call appointments and it's in 4-5 weeks time! Why are we still paying for this broken- useless service?!?!

Colin and myself have had medical issues for 18 months and i cannot fault anyone everyone is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble iit does not matter what you ask you are always reassured and everyone is fantastic at wychbury and the pharmacist next door it is the best surgery i know and pharmacy thank you again

I always get an appointment if I ring at 8 I've had the staff on the phone go out of their way this week to get my doctors note sorted for me one lady called Emily was absolutely amazing she called me late on Monday to make sure that the doctor had rang me and text my doctors note correctly..The staff have been really good the last month with me they rang me to tell me about my blood test I didn't have to chase them and I've had two GPS ring me. So I give them 5 stars. My hubby is thinking about changing to them too as they always do a good job.

I've always found the staff courteous and professional. No issues and I just hope they can continue to maintain the excellent service they all provide.
