Really great service. My face got a huge infection overnight whilst in Cornwall. I called for a remote appointment to sort it out. They simply sent me a link to upload a photo of it. An hour later, I had a telephone appointment with a very friendly doctor. She prescribed me what I needed straight away and within a few hours, I had my medicine. I mostly healed in a couple of days and enjoyed the rest of my holiday.

Have been a patient here for many years and most of the time I am happy with the staff. On a few occasions I have complained to the practice manager and she has got back to me but not in a positive way. Always makes you feel that none of the problems at the practice are down to her....she is the Practice Manager and as such the book stops with her. The reception staff are lovely at first but then it feels like they have been instructed to be firm and not helpful. For the past 4 weeks I have been trying to get an appt. for a medical examination only to be told that there are only certain Doctors who do these medicals. I'm told it's because it's so near to Christmas, I have been trying since early November. When I went in today to check for some new appointments that were due to be put on I got same answer. When will there be extra appointments put on when I can have this medical WE CAN'T TELL YOU IT'S DOWN TO THE MANAGER!!!! If I don't get this appointment in the next 2 weeks I risk losing my job. Cannot understand how we have got to this stage with the NHS, it seems the pandemic is the excuse for everything that doesn't run smoothly at Street Lane Practice.

Someone please explain to me why when I call to make an appointment because all my blood tests have come back abnormal that I am told to call back next week when there will be a possible appointment rota in place, when i asked when will the new rota be ready, the receptionist said its entirely upto me when I call, what a vague answer, obviously its entirely upto me when I call , but will there ever be a rota ready ? So I am to just try my luck ? Surely if all your tests come back abnormal then you should be made a priority for appointments. What a horrendous way to treat patients. Awful awful service! Great use of my tax payments.

Our family has unfortunately had to use the surgery quite a bit over the last year or so and they have been excellent. We’ve always managed to get an appointment and every doctor that has dealt with us has been full of compassion and care. We know they are all working in very difficult circumstances but can’t thank them enough 🙂

This is one of the best Medical practice I have been under. This practice is efficient and caring, all the times I have called them for an appointment I didn't have to hold on for more than 10 minutes for my call to be answered or wait for weeks before I could get an appointment. They make excellent follow up of you concerning your medical conditions. Keep it up Team street Lane, I appreciate your care and dedication.

Many thanks to phlebotomy nurse Emma, who let me off when I forgot my form from the hospital and sorted my blood test. She was cheerful and positive, in spite of the heat. Lovely attitude!

Dr J Hart is absolutely the best. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her. She is wonderful and caring especially regarding mental health and its extreme difficulties. I’ve never had a Dr so knowledgeable and kind. Thank you so much for all that you do. You’re very much appreciated!
