Several recent faults in the system some very serious, very poor costumer service. Practically no support outside Monday to Friday 8-5. Weekend response is incredibly slow.
With its numerous technical issues, lack of user support, and constant price increases, I would not recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for a reliable care plan solution, there are definitely better options out there. Hopefully, the developers will address and rectify this issues soon.

If I could give zero I would. Utter and total rubbish. Garbage in and garbage out. I would rather they tell me how my relative is rather than because she has participated in an activity for 5 minutes it takes 5 minutes to read the list of benefits the activity had social benefit cultural benefit emotional benefit benefit to self esteem and on it goes. Care has become a tick box exercise and nothing more. They tell me my relative is happy and content when I have visited and seen them in tears and fed up. You must get paid a lot of money for this so called service!

PCS has very good and approachable customer service team, as well as developers.
very good news on the roll out of the training platforms as well.
The system has got so much to offer in terms of charts, reports, analytics, so very good for oversight. care plan itself, it is quite time-consuming to write to start with, due to the structure of it, however once it is written and done properly, the upkeep and reviews are easy, so maintenance of said care plan is very straightforward.
Overall, a very clever system to use, easy to use for care staff too, capturing so much more detail of what happens on daily basis.

We use PCS care planning for all our care needs. They are brilliant. Carers all have phone type hand sets to record all care and the managers can access lots of useful information on the desk top like reports, charts, care plans and daily information. Very handy if a healthcare professional or relative phones for information. Tech team always available to answer queries. It has save so much time. Would totally recommend to anyone thinking about changing to a digital system.

The Care Home where I work has used PCS for about 7 years. It is has easy to use icons for documentation by the clinical staff and useful audit functions for the managers. The support is really good and they appreciate ideas from the clinical staff. There are a large numbers of updates to the system, which can make it hard to keep up but this is a good problem to have in that the system is responsive to national changes.

Using PCS was a game changer for our home (s). Once everything is set up it made life so much easier, looks more professional. Access to information to share with appropriate others is speedy and that amount of information we can share is increased. PCS are helpful and offer user guides for the system.
