SSA Quality Care supported my father three times per day for 12 weeks of his life. The care from every individual was wonderful along with the office-based team. On call at weekends was never an issue if contact needed to be made and always responded to WhatsApp message or would let us know if particular foods, medications or cleaning materials were needed. Each carer I met clearly cared for the individuals they were supporting.

Most importantly the care and support they showed their staff including the one who found him was amazing. Thank you to everyone on the team, particularly Mariam and Isabelle.

I am an EMT working for the ambulance service in this territory.

On the 13/04/2023 at approx 2100 a patient's pendant registered a fall on the fall sensor and an ambulance was triggered. At 2200 we arrived and found the patient to be well.

Upon trying to access the patient's notes on the OpenPASS app, we found that the notes included no medical history whatsoever. The only data available was drug history and care visits, from which it would be dangerous to try and work out a medical history,

As we were unable to access the medical history, we called the 24 hour on-call/emergency number for SAA Quality Care, but after three calls and voicemails got no reply.

If the patient were genuinely unwell, the lack of history or ability to communicate with the care company could have led to damaging patient outcomes.
