I have been to Guildford Smiles a few times now and am very happy with my dentist Dr Milan , as well as her assistant Holly . Dr Milan is very kind, passionate about his job , explaining everything in details and with patience .In general every member of the team is very helpful ad friendly . And they have very progressed and modern tools . I can recommend this Dentist and Surgery to all my friends and family .

I had a very concerning experience with this dental clinic. Their brochure advertised teeth cleaning for £27. When I called to book an appointment, I was told that as a new patient, an X-ray and examination would be required, which would bring the total cost to £85. However, after my visit, I was unexpectedly charged £207.

When I inquired about the charges, I was presented with a list of additional procedures that I was neither informed about nor consented to beforehand. This lack of transparency and failure to obtain my approval for extra services raises serious ethical and legal concerns.

I am sharing my experience to warn others and to urge the clinic to adopt more transparent practices to protect consumers from unexpected charges.

My booking experience has been disappointing. I've had two appointments cancelled in a row due to the Dentists not being available. Both times it had an impact on my personal circumstances having had to request time off. The booking process is also very time consuming. They are unorganised, and come across as an amateur business. They have wasted my time and if this is how the booking process is handled, then I definitely don't want to go through an actual treatment process with them.

My 18yo daughter's experience with Guildford Smiles has been a nightmare. Promised the best orthodontic care, she ended up with excessive and questionable treatments, including a shocking diagnosis of 14 cavities in less than a year! We ended up spending a lot of money with them. They even recommended an unnecessary £1400 root canal on a tooth they had previously treated. The reputable dentist in Guildford later confirmed the root canal treatment was not needed, and the issue was caused by a loose filling placed by Guildford Smiles. He also showed us my daughter's previous scans that didn't show any cavities developed and also found the 14 cavities in such a short time in a healthy 18yo impossible. Unfortunately, her previous dentist couldn't provide invisible aligners.

Despite aggressively advertising their aligner services, after a few months of waiting and misleading appointments, Guildford Smiles failed to provide them and we had to chase them for a refund. I wish I had read the reviews sooner; only now do I understand why several dentists left the practice within a year.

My daughter has endured pain, lost work time, and financial strain due to their negligence. Don't make the same mistake we did. Please, find a trusted and reputable dental practice that had been in Guildford for a long time. Protect your health and your wallet!
