Amazing service from start to finish, I had LASIK surgery in August this year after years of consideration I finally took the plunge and went for the surgery with Mr Tappin.

Mr Mike Tappin and his team were brilliant from the consultation right through to the surgery and aftercare. Mr Tappin and his team were very reassuring throughout the surgery and put me at ease every step of the way.

If you are thinking about having laser eye treatment or at the start of your journey with it, I would highly recommend seeing Mr Tappin and his team!

Presumably like most people, I was extremely nervous about having laser eye surgery. It had in fact, taken me a number of years to even get to the point of having an initial consultation.

I saw two other laser eye surgery companies in advance of seeing Mr Tappin and both had left me feeling uncomfortable with the advice provided.

I knew from my first appointment at Guildford that this was a much more professional service and I immediately felt reassured.

Naturally when you undertake the process of having laser eye surgery, everyone you meet knows someone who has had it done and quite often you hear the horror stories.

Without doubt my experience with Mr Tappin and his team, can only be described as first class. I cannot think of even the slightest issue that I had across all of my appointments.

It should also come as no surprise to hear that my treatment worked 100% and I would describe my new found eyesight as nothing short of a miracle. I will sing the praises of Mr Tappin and his team to anyone that will listen.

Lens replacement surgery was a major decision for me. Mike Tappin and his team are highly professional. A smooth and positive experience with Laservision from the point of first enquiry, to the operation, to the follow up appointments. A massive thank you to Mr Tappin, Geeta and the rest of the team at Laservision and Mt Alvernia hospital for their outstanding service for my LASEK procedure.

Everyone was professional- Mr Tappin and Geeta were particularly reassuring, always open to questions and professional. I felt I was in safe hands throughout even though was a little nervious just before the procedure.

My vision improved significantly instantly after the operation, but of course faced discomfort and pain as was informed clearly by the team, but thankfully for the first night only. Also am using my eye drops for dry eyes far less frequently now so hopefully will resolve in due course- although a couple of drops every day/ other day is nothing compared the the hassle of spectacles.

Ever since have been enjoying 20:20 vision free from glasses and contact lenses. I just need to remember to stop adjusting the non existent glasses on my nose!

Would highly recommend an initial consultation with Laservision to see if this is right for you, from personal experience!

I would highly recommend Mr Tappin if you are looking for laser treatment. Mine was a complicated case as I had suffered a corneal ulcer which had left scarring. Not only did I want my eyesight corrected but also removal of the scarring.
Mr Tappin's attention (and that of his team), care and thoroughness was exceptional. Everything was explained clearly so I could make an informed decision at every step. He managed my expectations brilliantly but in actual fact, I could not have wished for a better outcome.
