Reception/ call handling staff are OK but it is near impossible to actually get an appointment. With a chest infection and asthma l, today, I simply got a text message from a doctor telling me to go to a walk-in centre. Ridiculous, especially as they have previously prescribed the required meds following a phone consultation.

Nurse was just rude and nasty, they made me wait a month for a blood test only to tell me on the day that they couldnt give me one. They made me feel stupid for "booking an appointment with a nurse instead of a doctor" after i had clearly asked for a consultation with a gp and they booked me in with the nurse anyway. Staff are just confrontational, standoffish and sarcastic.

Receptionists are rude and useless, considering being a receptionist doesn’t require many skills I’d question their overall competency to do anything if they can’t do their simple minimum wage job.
Had a telephone appointment for 9:15, I called at 10am to be told they’re dealing with a face to face patient who’s been there for 40 minutes and id receive a call shortly, after the patient leaves. It’s been 2 hours and still haven’t received a call. I called again to ask if I can expect this call any time today to which the woman got hysterical and couldn’t answer a simple question of when to expect a call.
They’re all useless and need the sack the lot of em. Wouldn’t trust those silly receptionist women with a plastic spoon.

I have been seen by Wodeland Surgery since December 2021, and I have always been treated very well. Very friendly staff and always available to help and provide information. Non-urgent appointments take one to three weeks, and for urgent appointments they usually call me the same day or the next day.

Back in July 2023, my brother came in, he was obviously ill but had some mental problems and we were truly struggling. He just needed a referral from the GP to use his BUPA benefits but the receptionist gave him an appointment 3 weeks out.

Anyway, the day of his appointment the police (after I called them from the US after nor hearing from him, we spoke daily due to his struggles) found him dead in his home at age 40. We partly hold this surgery responsible for ignoring his pleas for help. Note they are not the only ones responsible.

Why on earth is a receptionist making decisions to give someone, who is obviously ill very sick (I have photos as proof from that day), an appointment that far out. I recommend additional training and maybe some eye tests for this surgery. Partly thanks to this surgery my brother is no longer with us.

Impossible to get through to via phone with an overlong voicemail message that bangs on and on and then literally hangs up on you, a website that closes!!, requests can no longer be sent via email and the patient hub is useless as the provided log in details don't work.
I've been waiting a week for a prescription that was refused but they didn't inform me. They said to my pharmacist that I'd been given 2 months of meds but I wasn't. They even changed my dose without telling me.
My pharmacist tried to help and emailed them to ask them to call me but I've heard nothing and have had to cope with a week of hideous withdrawal symptoms.
An abysmal surgery made so by an equally abysmal, psychopathic uncaring government.
Avoid getting ill in 21st century Britain unless you can afford to go private.

When seen, have always been happy with the doctor I have seen.

I am staying here withy 4 months old girl, coughing waiting to be received. We had an appointment at 11: 30 am, it's 12:03 and the receptionist doesn't know how much is gonna take.

A guy came here and he went straight inside coughing and with no mask! Another 5 patients that came after us, went inside and already left.

Awful!!!! Please avoid this surgery!!!!
