This must be one of the best hospital experiences I’ve ever had. From the very start; a smiling, friendly receptionist through to the administering nurse and then the doctors that dealt with me. Phone calls before and after the procedure to check how things were. All the staff seemed highly motivated, courteous, friendly and efficient. This has been such a positive experience for me. Thank you so very much.

What a wonderful hospital from start to finish of my operation. The staff Andrea and Sam were friendly and first class with my time while staying there. The Manager was amazing with my medical error and I would recommend this hospital as it helped with my anxiety. Had my own side room and en-suite, tv (free) and meals felt like I was in a private hospital and pleased I didn’t have my knee operation at Basildon!

Today I had to take my disabled sister to xray who is very anxious just starting to stand again and going out . Karen was so kind even though she had to get information from me as sis can't do it she was literally speaking to my sister introduced herself pointed to name tag that has never happened before normally she's ignored go into xray meet Charlotte (I'm think name ) as was overwhelmed with there compassion kindness and patience thank you and I praise you .

Today I came to do an Xray of the chest due to coughing up blood. After Xray I asked if I could take a picture of Xray cause my friend is specialist CTC Physio and he is capable to assess it and say if there is sth to worry about. But they say no, it is policy, i cannot take picture of MY xray…
So If in 2 weeks time after getting my results there will be sth serious I will sue hospital for slowing down the treatment process…

On Saturday 17th August 2024 I came here for a nasal endoscopy. My friend drove me. Parking was easy and it's free!! Inside the hospital entrance, it looks like it's a private hospital. The pre assessment nurse who was filling in the forms with me was so friendly and chatty. She put me at ease about the procedure as I was so nervous. She then took me through to the theatre room, introduced me to the nurses and doctor who was performing the procedure who put me at ease throughout the whole time it took. The nurse in the recovery room who looked after me was lovely. He told me the results which were printed out and said I can take it home. I'm coming back here formy initial tissue viability clinic appointment in October. I shall put a review after I've been to this appointment. I highly recommend this hospital.

I recently underwent ACL and MCL reconstruction surgery at Braintree hospital, performed by Mr Aweid, and I cannot praise the experience highly enough. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and efficient.

From the moment I met Mr Aweid at the pre-op appointment, he took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and patiently answer all my questions. On the second pre-op visit he even went the extra mile by conducting a stress X-ray to ensure I had all the information needed to make an informed decision. And then a few days before my surgery he got in touch with me out of hours to answer some last minute questions I had.

On the day of surgery, Mr Aweid personally checked in on me before and after the procedure, ensuring I felt supported and informed.

The hospital itself was spotless and the entire staff team, from nurses to support personnel, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Plus, I must mention that the food served was excellent!

The physiotherapy team on site also played a vital role in my recovery, providing excellent guidance and support. Ensuring I was able to travel up and down the stairs safely before discharging me.

In summary, my experience with Mr. Aweid and his team felt like receiving treatment at a top-tier private hospital. If you're in need of any knee related surgical care, I highly recommend this hospital and Mr Aweid. You'll receive nothing short of exceptional care and support every step of the way.

I recently had caudal epidural spinal injections and 3 weeks later came back for right hip replacement. On both occasions it was more like a private hospital. Everyone from the volunteers, Chaplin Janet, HCAs, pre/post op nursing teams, anaethetic teams, Dr Zaiden and Dr V Kumar the care I received was exemplary. On both occasions I had my own room, en suite. The physios are great too so encouraging and caring. The food was restaurant standard. I honestly can’t fault the care and compassion I received. I just want to say a huge Thank You to everyone involved in my care you are all angels and I will never forget your kindness
