Attended today with our daughter who has complex needs. Chris the optician was amazing with her and us, he was patient and calm and talked to us throughout the test, explaining what was happening, his findings and how best to treat. Our daughter is a wheelchair user and non-verbal so not the easiest customer if you don’t have experience of these conditions. Chris couldn’t have handled the appointment any better and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you!

I can't praise Guisborough Specsavers enough, just before my eye appointment my 6 month old puppy chewed my last pair of glasses after explaining, I was told they would try and get my new glasses as quick as possible, my eye appointment was on the Thursday and they arrived on the Saturday, brilliant service, the shop also has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful

Excellent service from start to finish, first eye test i've had.
Easy online booking, arrived 15mins before appointment, was greeted as i went through the door and was seen to straight away.
Given an appointment to collect glasses, seen to before time, very friendly and helpful staff.

Booked an appointment online, recieved a call to confirm. Arrived early and they were able to see me early, which was great as I had to be at work, tests were performed and optician asked questions reading my vision. Optician explained the results and recommended a tweek to my lenes. I was not pressured or sold to buy new glasses, but I purchased new frames and lenses from the 2 for 1 offer and a fitting appointment booked for 2 weeks time. Arrive for fitting, seen straight away, and glasses tweaked and fitted in 10 minutes. Staff were friendly, shop was clean, process was smooth.

I booked an Eye test to see if my eyes had changed since I was poorly, was a bit nervous but the staff made me feel welcome and was seen earlier than my appointment, was seen by the optician and explained that me eyes were better in 1 eye and slightly less in the other so I decided to get newer glasses. The staff were very helpful in choosing new frames from the selection offered-- got the 2 for 1 price so was happy with that. Received my new glasses a week later when I was able to get in to pick up, very satisfied with the service and my glasses, highly recommended
