Just had my cataract removed by a wonderful surgeon and all the team supporting him . From the receptionist to the operating staff they are an absolute credit to Newmedica health clinic. Nothing too much trouble and they really focus on you the client/patient and take such care. I’m thrilled to have had this op and if anyone is worried about the procedure don’t be they are wonderful team of professionals.

Excellent team who did my cataracts cannot thank them enough. Downside the aftercare is non-existent. I have been calling for 3 days and leaving messages as I have run out of eye drops. Contacted my doctors who cannot supply any until Newmedica supply a prescription which I have requested from them. I will have to drive 130 miles to pick some up.

First class experience from start to finish. The staff were amazing, friendly and caring. Would totally recommend this centre. Met some people there who had attended previously and they too were full of praise. Thank you to everyone, receptionist, care staff and surgeon, all were really lovely.

Disappointing experience. Had to attend a different surgery 20miles away due to issues at the local surgery. Was provided a prescription that was illegible. Tool it to two different pharmacists and neither could readily. I was then told the prescription didn't have the dosage written on it so they couldn't prescribe anyway. Three calls to Newmedica and told I would get a call back. After each call I have had to phone them and was then told I would have to collect a new prescription but might have to drive 20 miles to go and get it but they would phone me back after speaking to the consultant..l Was guaranteed a call back, on Friday but at the very latest Sunday. Its now 19.45 and again never received a call. Still struggling with my eyes with no medication to help relieve the issue. Poor service and no consideration for patients. Will be submitting a formal complaint and bringing it up with my GP

UPDATE
Whilst I appreciate the reply. I can categorically tell you nobody has attempted to contact me today and unsurprisingly the offer of dropping my prescription off hasn't materialised either. It's farcical. If you're going to do something at least follow through with your intent.
All this is doing is adding insult to injury. If you just forward me the details of your complaints procedure

After a cataract operation and a series of three injections to help me retain some sight I cannot praise Numedica services enough. They are both efficient and caring. The appointments with them are regularly on time and the treatments are given effectively . I'm grateful for the work they have undertaken on my behalf.

WOW I had my procedure on 18th September 2021. What can I say about my experience-
Excellent, I felt that I was being so well looked after. Everyone of the staff, nurses and consultant and theatre staff were brilliant- never felt frightened - I came away saying I'd had a very positive
experience - if you need a cataract removed and are offered Newmedica accept- they are brilliant- thankyou girls one and all
