Worst "mental health" team to exist honestly don't know how it's still going. Fobbed me off after I had traumatic PTSD as a child and now while my autistic/ADHD son is in crisis when I rang they said it wasn't there problem "a parent teacher issue" absolutely disgusting service no wonder so many children loose there life's when they're in the hands of CAHMS want to be absolutely ashamed of themselves who ever was on the phone today and knew the situation choose not to help my son of out pure evil laziness

i spoke to a crisis team worker about an hour ago and she was one of the most vile disgusting people i’ve ever spoken too. she was so ignorant and horrible refusing to understand my situation and understand why she was making everything worse. she was so condescending and she’s completely put me off ever using the camhs crisis team ever again. she involved my mother after i specifically told her to not and told her i’d said things i didn’t say? she was practically forcing me to break up with my boyfriend of 1 year over the pettiest thing and was just overall evil. disgusting.

We've had a lovely experience getting CBT therapy from Hayley - she's really kind and tries hard to engage my son.
Reception staff seem friendly too.

Absolutely disgusting service didn’t listen took four years and still haven’t had a diagnosis for my daughter and two months before her 18th refused her from
Panel insufficient evidence and then has to start again at the adult services . Didn’t help or guide you to the help needed. Waste of space . Stockton cahms . Daughter suicidal and didn’t care . Refused to send her to pychiatrist for a diagnosis . Honestly wouldn’t bother

Very disappointing let my 17 year old son down massively.
Treating him for ptsd when he hasn’t even had a diagnosis and because my son felt uncomfortable doing appointments through zoom they have discharged him even though he still needs help.

Absolutely awful, I went in for treatment of anorexia and they did nothing to help me mentally, got me to a healthy weight and then sent me back home. Now I’m just like I was, hope they were better for others like me.

Waste of time they're all brain dead and ask the same questions, i told them multiple times i want to die and all they told me was to "take care"

You're honestly better off with doing back ally drugs and ignoring your problems than talking to them lot.
