After starting my career in care last year with a different company I made the change in March to bluebird care and it was the best move I’ve made.
I am always supported with any issues, although there are hardly any!
I have been encouraged with any further learning that I have undertaken and there are always opportunities for more learning.
I’m so glad I am now a bluebird and cannot wait to continue my career here!

Bluebird Care are the most unreliable, uncaring.and unprofessional care agency I have had the misfortune to deal with.
Carers are untrained and lack confidentiality. They frequently discuss other clients personnal information with other clients.
Clients are not informed if a call is going to be late or cancelled by the office at the last minute due to lack of staff. Clients are expected to still pay for their missed calls.
Bluebird expect a client to give 28 days notice, even in an emergency if admitted to hospital and will continue to charge their extortionate rates during this time.
Bluebird have a high turnover of staff, including carers, managers and admin. There is low morale with staff. Staff lack respect, empathy and basic care skills for their clients. Managers are rude and aggresive, both in person and over the phone.
Chichester has many highly rated care agencies and Bluebird is not one of them.

One to look out for, my 95 year old mother in law used their services but then had a fall and had to go into a care home, despite her circumstances Blue bird not so caring carried on charging her their fees for 28 days for not providing a service, they call it their late cancellation fee. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at all they don't understand the concept of treating people fairly. next step rip off Britain

I am absolutely disgusted at Bluebird care Agency. My mother has dementia and cannot walk and the carers did not turn up three times to move and change her over three days. One evening they did not turn up and I had to hoist her onto the bed by myself and change her. I tried to ring the on call mobile 5 times and nobody answered and I could not leave a message. They never rang me back to apologise and the next day they still had not got in touch and did not turn up again! I would never recommend this Agency. If I had not been around my mother would have been left in her chair all night. It's unforgivable to leave a vulnerable adult on their own without visiting when you are supposed to.

It's a franchise. They have large staff rotation, don't invest in retaining employees, milage and travel time is very often paid inadequately. Avoid
