I'm actually not even surprised that the ratings are so low, most of the woman in the chemist are rude... don't get me wrong most of the nurses are nice but recently I have been taken for a joke and are not getting the health and care I need. Getting told one thing and then getting told another thing, being left for weeks in pain while they keep saying your under review? And still being left, having to keep ringing up to try get sorted and apparently the only thing they tell me is too loose weight and not in a very nice way, very rude actually, will be ringing back tomorrow morning and demanding talking to a real doctor otherwise I'll be changing to somewhere that will have compassion and help me!

Called today to get an appointment for what I felt like was a tendon injury. Got fobbed off to urgent care for what they suspected was DVT over the phone, urgent care dr said I have zero risk of dvt and it’s a minor tendon injury. Lost a day of work when had I gone to the surgery I’d have still been able to make it on time. Was literally a 10 min chat with the dr at urgent care for him to tell me how to make sure it doesn’t get worse and it’ll take about 6 weeks to get better

Been at this surgery for more than 7 years and it still remains one of the best I have experienced. The staff are extremely friendly. The only problems I have had is prescriptions not being ready when they say but overall a lovely practice.

The staff are friendly , since being with the surgery I've only ever had contact with a nurse and the receptionists ( All really friendly) .

Only downsides are :

- The NHS app they almost never respond to ( I work varied hours so I tend to be asleep early in the morning . Which I've mentioned a few times ) I also click for text or email contact ( due to my work pattern )

- They have given me a number twice for something that doesn't even cover this area at all .

Wife went to register yesterday. Was told there was a long waiting list to register. Wife ask if there was any where else she could go to get help with her depression and they said no . Avoid this surgery as none caring and very unprofessional staff at the reception avoid. Phoned another surgery up was very very helpful got registered no problem at all .

The rigid structure that GP Surgeries use nowadays will always draw criticism. Physio Appt but wanted to briefly discuss my pain relief, 'sorry you'll need to call for an appointment'!

No flexibility for a conversation that would've taken 5 minutes (I was in the building!). Frustrating but that's the current state of all GPs. Overall though a very good local Surgery.

Update Reviewed down to 2 Star - needed repeat prescription, closed Thursday at 14.00(!) for training and next open Friday morning! Sent urgent message, no reply - rang Friday and told no problem will send script over to Pharmacy (Bank Holiday coming up). Not sent and had to contact OOO GP for pain relief as ran out. Very poor service with little compassion or care.

OOO Nurse was simply fantastic but bothering her should not have been necessary.

I have just moved to this practice and I cannot believe how good it is! The staff are friendly and non intrusive, you can get an appointment without a big fuss or wait, and the prescription service is second to none. So easy and pleasant to deal with.
