Fantastic surgery, friendly and highly knowledgeable medical staff. Receptionists bend over backwards to assist. I highly recommend, best GP surgery I have ever experienced.

I love this surgery. I was worried about leaving my doctor in Crouch End when we moved here, but I actually prefer this one.

I see Dr Mownah who is honestly amazing. She is sympathetic, genuinely wants to help, genuinely listens, and genuinely cares. I've an ongoing issue that she's seamlessly picked right back up! She's brilliant.

The nurse was also wonderful, super kind and gentle.

I've seen complaints about the receptionists but they've always been lovely and helpful.

Sadly, people only tend to review when something is bad, so I wanted to leave a good review because I do think they're good. They're a lot better than the current star rating they've been given which I don't feel is accurate.

I’ve visited the practice twice within a week for my 18month old son, when I first visited, I called in advance to let them know i was running late as there was traffic and wouldn’t make the appointment so they fit me in 10 mins later on which I was happy with, I checked in using their self check in machine and sat patiently with my child, after around 30 mins I got up to ask how long it will be approximately before I could see the doctor as my son was now growing impatient, and she replied with the doctors running late and will see you shortly. After waiting another 15/20 mins I got up and asked if I was checked in properly to which another receptionist answered saying you were booked for a phone consultation, after many back and forths she then realised (me calling prior about running late and the fact I received no call at the alleged time for the ā€œphone consultationā€) her mistake however she then blamed me for not checking in properly.

I was finally seen by the doctor who said no intervention was necessary for my son’s eye problem. Fast forward this morning and the redness has spread to both eyes so I called the practice to be seen by a doctor in the hopes I am prescribed medication, I’ve booked an appointment reached the practice before my appointment asked to be checked in through the receptionist who abruptly told me to use the self check in service I explained my prior issue only for her to say no one else has an issue and it’s just me. I checked in and took a picture of the confirmation screen to then go back to receptionist and confirm I’ve booked my son in, she’s told me that I haven’t checked in to which I then just showed her the picture of the screen. As a few minutes had now past since my appointment time she then said it didn’t work because I was late but I showed her the time stamp which was before my appointment time. And then she said well you have a phone consultation anyways, I explained to her this issue just happened a few days prior, she was adamant that it was a phone consultation and made up a random conversation saying that I had stated on the phone that I would like a phone consultation- I then stated it’s the same issue from a few days ago to which she rudely replied. I reminded her I called to get my sons eyes checked so why would a phone consultation even be useful. She then ignored me and then rudely told me to sit down, I asked her if I’ve been checked in for a face to face consultation and she then even more rudely told me to sit down again.

The doctors on both appointments were polite and caring which is a shame as the bad reviews are reflecting the professionalism of the receptionists and not the doctors.

I think some of the receptionists (I’ve only encountered a few so won’t put them all on the same boat) needs to be retrained in handling patients as their behaviour is not acceptable.

I had a terrible experience here with my 2-month old daughter waiting more than 4 hours to be seen.
I think one of the receptionists there needs training or indeed a career change because she was completely incapable of making informed logical steps to assist in case of a query. My husband checked with her what is taking so long after an hour and then again after two hours only to be told on both occasions we’ll be seen next. After 4 hours I lost my patience and went to speak to her again only to be told that ā€œsometimes it takes a long time as we prioritise elderly and childrenā€ - I guess a 2 month old doesn’t qualify… I mean you couldn’t make this up. In the end another receptionist helped us and it turned out that since the appointment was made by NHS 111 it wasn’t showing on their systems..
The doctor we ended up seeing wasn’t much better - rude, dismissive and made us feel like we’re wasting his precious time and offending him with the questions we had.
Avoid this practice if you can although I would say that the nurses working there are lovely.

Very friendly staff and radiologist. Annoyed that InHealth told me it was only two miles from where I live when it turned out to be six miles. And would it kill them to put in a cycle rack or two? Had to lock my cycle to the wooden handrail outside the entrance. Not ideal.

My parents have been with this surgery for many many years and have always been very happy there. I recently took over helping with thier health and I found the reception staff and admin staff incredibly helpful. My parents health can be quite demanding, but the staff have put themselves out many many times and it has helped me so much on many occasions. Dr Bhagat and his team are always on hand to help too. I feel very happy that my parents are in such good hands. Best wishes, Melanie.

I have been a patient at this surgery for over 1 year my previous GP never even knew I existed! Here in Grovelands they keep you informed with your health and tell you when you should have your next check for either bloods or foot check etc.
Reception staff are always willing to help and give you the best advice.
Personally I have always been able to receive an appointment either face to face or a telephone consultation,
They have a disabled access which is very helpful as I can’t do too many stairs.
