I joined the queue for appointments this morning at 8am and was number 42. However, my call was answered after less than 10 minutes, and I obtained an appointment for later on this morning. So I think that is pretty good service!

Update: on 30th September I again needed an appointment for an elderly relative who wasn't well enough to leave the house and rang the surgery at 8 am. A telephone appointment was arranged later in the morning, medicine was prescribed and delivered by 4 pm.

Although the surgery is very busy and under a lot of pressure I think it delivers a good service. Thanks SMC! And thanks to Weelsby View Pharmacy delivery service.

I've only been a patient at this surgery for a few months and I heard a few bad reports about it but I can honestly say this surgery is brilliant. The reception staff are so welcoming and happy, (unlike my last GPs), the nurses are lovely and so caring and I had an appointment today with a Doctor who was really really nice and greeted me with a smile which automatically puts you at ease. Yes it is a pain trying to get through in a morning for an appointment but it's not only this practise that's like that, they all are now!. All in all I'm extremely happy and so glad we moved to Scartho Medical Centre.

After attending for a conultation this morning - I am dismayed that the sympathy for fibromyalgia is almost nil. My husband was with me and as soon as I mentioned my fibromyalgia, the doctor pointed to her head and directed the conversation at him saying it was a condition because of the receptors in the brain were different. Am I to take from that, that my pain is imaginary?

I only joined last November and have felt supported since the very beginning.
Reception staff go above and beyond and are only trying there best they are not being nosey they are following a protocol in these unprecedented times with the NHS.
If its a non urgent appointment and you want to see a particular doctor then yes you do have to wait but us for us as a family have had no issues to get a same day appointment either by telephone or seeing a doctor.
I myself find them kind courteous and respectful at all times and I can't praise them enough.

I go here to have my toe nails done every 12 weeks. They are very helpful. And I don't have to pay as it's on the NHS through the doctors. I'm diabetic so I have to have them done.

Sadly this surgery has to many people on the books. Rang at 8am. Took me 85 goes? . As like a lot of NHS doctors things are coming a bit impossible. The nurse I saw was absolutely great.
