As always, the need to book online chronically delays checking in as many pensioners just do not comprehend how to do that or do not have the facility to do it. Of course the telephone option is always engaged with a long wait.

If they just had the option to book at the reception desk it would actually be much quicker to check in.

Once past the 10+ minutes to get through reception, who are lovely and it's not their fault, the blood takers are really efficient and comforting to those uncountable being there, which I'm not.

There are, at most, two disabled parking bays. Mostly these are taken by able bodied people but, even if a disabled person does get one, the machine to register not to pay with a blue badge is the other end of the car park as it is in all the hospital car parks. No doubt they expect to cure so many patients that they are fine to walk this extra distance. They can, of course, register online, see my comment earlier about booking appointments.

Very organised and efficient. Don’t worry if you are still in the queue at your booked time slot. You get a numbered ticket when you’ve checked in and they get through lots of people in good time.

Nurse who took my blood was not looking properly trained. She inserted needle and blood was not coming so she was poking it left and right for blood. 1 star for her 3 star for overall department.

If your lucky enough to get Ayomide you’ll be in good hands, magical hands! I didn’t feel the needle go in nor did I bruise. He was a pro 😊

Today was not my best experience compared to other days. Lost twenty plus minutes trying to find a place to park... Booked in and the ticket machine wasn't working so they allocated a number to you which worked well. The place was extremely busy so my appointment time was missed by around 30 plus mins it didn't help with me turning up late due to no parking except for one further away..
So not perfect but a great job with the available resources.. Keep up the good work.
I'll just have to leave even earlier for the parking issues 🫣

This is no reflection on the blood taking staff but would someone please change the answer machine message lady cause I can’t understand what she is saying about the website address, it’s not clear and also the website says you are open until 4pm when in fact it’s 12pm lunchtime

This unit is very efficient and works well despite the high volume of people attending. Gone are the days when you could just turn up without an appointment and have your blood taken. Now, ( Covid 19 period) you must make an online appointment.
The unit itself is superb in quickly taking your blood. In and out within 5 minutes if you choose a correct time.
