Just had my first appointment, I was a bit nervous because I’d seen the reviews and it was my first smear test so a bit intimidating! The building is having some renovations so the waiting room doesn’t look the best, but the staff were all absolutely lovely and made me feel very at ease.

I know medical experiences can be luck of the draw but they are definitely not all bad here.

Rude receptionist named Marie. She hung up the phone on me after giving me a load of attitude for asking if my prescription had been sent over to the pharmacy (id been waiting all day long) as I am in a wheelchair and it’s a hassle to get there. No need for it. Sour people like that, be kind and do better.

Long waits for appointments, the building is in a shocking state.
As with most NHS GPs they will waste your time and theirs with 4 or 5 appointments before they listen to you and refer you or suggest any course of action other than a paracetamol.

One star goes to the nurse who works here, she is lovely and helpful!

The doctors however are an absolute state. Dismissive, unhelpful and pressure you into agreeing to minimal treatment when you most likely need more. Avoid like the plague!

Impossible to get a hold of, I always have to call around 200 times in the morning at 8am to make an appointment and il be lucky if the phone gets picked up. And once the women answers she always tells me there’s no appointments for the day or most of them are gone which is weird since the line doesn’t even connect at 8am so how did all the appointments just disappear ? Receptionist is always rude and in a hurry to shut the conversation. Horrible service, don’t even think anyone does their job here, stay away because you won’t hear back until your on ur deathbed.
