Incredible Couple's Massage at The Massage Company!
My partner and I recently enjoyed a Swedish massage at The Massage Company, and it was absolutely fantastic. The therapists were incredibly skilled and attentive, tailoring the massage to our specific needs. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful, and we both left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We'll definitely be returning for another couples massage in the future!

Staff were really friendly, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. However I was disappointed by the experience overall.

Firstly it felt like a conveyor belt of massages.. it was all quite clinical and a very stark environment with lots of people coming and going. The people at the front desk were trying to upsell massage courses to everyone who entered and it felt quite salesy and impersonal.

Secondly, I had booked a full body massage and when I indicated on the form that I had tension in my feet and head I was told during the consultation that these areas were available as ‘upgrades’ for an additional £10.95. I’ve been getting massages regularly for years and decided to try the Massage Company as I have just moved to the area; I’ve never been told that certain areas are upgrades for an extra cost and I was so thrown I just said that was fine I’ll pay extra. The foot massage was incredibly disappointing. The therapist used a massage gun on my feet for a few minutes, gave them a cursory rub on the soles and heels and didn’t even touch my toes. It was most bizarre, slightly uncomfortable and not worth the money!!

I won’t be returning, I’m going to find somewhere with a bit more of a personal and intuitive approach. Massages are meant to be a relaxing experience, not a factory operation!!

Booked a sports massage at MC , from the off the upselling started are you going to take a monthly subscription?
Before I make a decision I wanted to find out if they are good at their job , so went in for the 50 minute sports massage .
Was asked if I wanted an upsell which I declined as the oils should be included in the price & everywhere else are .
Once the massage started the selling spiel for the monthly massage started, once started & he knew I wasn’t going to sign up to the plan he never seemed interested in giving me what I had paid for, there was no interaction about the level of pressure put into the massage. It was just move on so I can try to sell to the next client. As a result the massage was sub standard, you can get so much better. Oh & the 50 minute massage was 44 minutes & that was the time from walking in the room to leaving the room so take 6 minutes from the 44 minutes & then you feel you have overpaid for not a very good product.
Then again the up sell conversation in reception,
So not functional or relaxing
Can’t say I will return or recommend as there is so much better out there .

I have been looking for a decent, clean massage place and I found it!
Staff: the moment I walked in, everyone greeted me with a smile. A very young lady at the reception, was very welcoming and helpful. My female therapist, whose name I can’t remember (she did introduce herself, but my memory isn’t what it used to be), was amazing. She was helpful and caring and listened to everything I was saying to her. During the massage, she was attentive and helped the tension I had in my back. Those members of staff with whom I didn’t directly interact, were nice, held the door for me and acknowledged me. I went to so many places where other members of staff just ignore you, but not here. The member of staff who saw me out was great too and double checked if everything went well for me.
Place: it’s clean!!! The waiting area is bright and spacious. Really nice.
Massage: delivered professionally and in a very attentive manner. I felt so relaxed afterwards.
Would I recommend this place? Yes! Purely because they looked after me really well, ALL members of staff made effort and the massage itself was fantastic.

Finding a massage therapist who suits your needs and you're comfortable with can take a bit of time but that would be the same trying to find one out in the wild. They've been pretty much all great for me and any that haven't I just don't book with again as you can choose who you go with.

Came here with the missus. Got a double room to keep an eye on her. Only really came for her but I had a fantastic time. Big thanks to Dwain for getting them golf balls out my shoulders… BOSH!!

I used a gift voucher for a 50 min full body massage. I agreed an extra charge of £10 for what I thought was an additional foot massage. My massage including the feet was over before 50 mins had passed! When I went to pay, the extra charge became £10.95.
The worst thing about this service though was how private comments from the therapist to myself about my poor muscles, posture etc were announced in reception for all of the other waiting customers to hear. It was cringe worthy. Whilst I was waiting for my massage, I heard the private comments delivered to others at the end of their massages. Zero privacy.
The place is spacious but I was lying with my face down on the massage table looking at a carpet that desperately needed a good hoover.
A mediocre massage too.
