You get pressured into moving off methadone or even increasing it, even though I was still using but less often and even had a full time job ( I was only on 10 ml but I was stable on weekly pickup and able to work for first time in years). Now have to take a week off work or possibly longer to do a buprenorphine titration and will likely be on daily pick up even though I was stable on my methadone. Not recommended for people that have full time jobs as you may have issues collecting daily from a pharmacy.

What a fantastic service by the key workers, they try to support on all levels but are greatly let down by their managers. This in turn meaning that are their clients are also let down as if you finish the program there is no support for relapse and you are just left too it.
