I've been going to Townend for a number of years, on the back of a friend's recommendation. They've been great but the current swaps with new dentist after new dentist is (for me) becoming unnerving (personal issues with much earlier dentists, which I thought was under control). I was told that I had a issue with a root canal, which would need to be seen by a specialist (i.e. yet another dentist). Which I see someone else had commented on, recently.

Generally speaking, no issues. No waiting around and the ladies in reception are brilliant and super friendly.

I’ve been there yesterday for the very first time and I’d say they all were very nice,kind and professional. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly and polite also very good looking. The doctor and his assistant were very nice and professional, They’ve done my treatment very quick and in the best way that was possible in my opinion. I am very happy and satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend them.

All my family are patients, have Been for 3 years. Really good with children. My girls love the dentist and bicker who's going first.

Regular check-up booked at last visit .surgery bright and clean. Efficient reception Dentist carried out inspection and did a filling and descale at same visit. Only drawback is double yellow lines outside mean I need to use taxis to get there as arthritis means I can't walk from carparks to surgery! An expensive morning!

Having not visited a Dentist in awhile due to being on a waiting list I was anxious about my first visit but the receptionist team are very welcoming and efficient and quickly put you at ease. I was in and out in 30 minutes with minimal treatment needed.

I had an appointment yesterday 13th February, I've been having treatment for an abcess and waiting to have the tooth removed, however when I got to dentist, nothing was done,there had been a mix up about my appointments, not my fault, I've got all my appointments written down. I have now got to wait over a week, the 24th of February for my next appointment.

This was my first visit at this practice.All I can give them is praise, the receptionist was marvelous to start with put me at ease as I am very nervous.Once I was in the dentist chair he made me relaxed and spoke with me.
