From our first contact and throughout the duration of our time using Lotus Home Care, the experience has been without a doubt one of the most professional and personal. They were always willing to go over and above to meet any needs that were necessary. Every aspect of the company, from the office personnel to the onsite carers and field Care supervisors, made a difficult situation much easier for not only my dad but also the family. Lotus are a very big company and my mums care wasn’t always the best. I feel it really does try to have high standards but the carers it employs let the company down.

Very young inexperienced people whom organise their time wrong & jobs. Turning up at my mums far too early or late. Giving her dinner then 2 hours later her tea!! I think I complained about this every week and NOTHING was done about it. Management are very prompt to ring and explain they are short staffed.

I don’t like to disrespect a company but feel that providing care with someone on a one to one in their home, must be to the highest standard.
I also found that when I checked the invoice, the carers were claiming half an hour visits when they had only been there 10 minutes. I really hope lotus look at the carers role and how they are representing them and take on board some of this feedback because I’m sure their is great carers that are a minority in the team who work extremely hard.

Since moving my mum has now different carers and the quality of care she is receiving is outstanding. Like she deserves!

We used Lotus Home Care for several years for my grandparents. The majority of carers they employ are not suited to the role. We had missed visits, missed medications, fleeting visits and more.
Management and staff turn over is regular which says a lot for the company. Complaint after complaint was submitted and never fully dealt with.
I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Lotus Care missed two consecutive visits and my mum had no warfarin for these two days.We had to ccotact anti-coagulation and increase warfarin doses to combat thickening of hern blood.The owner lives inn Dubai,and the office staff are barely literate.Their attempts at communication are unintelligible.I reported them to CQC whoi areblaunching a safeguarding investigation.I have recruited my own carers myself,saving money and raisingb the quality of care gievenn to my mother
