I'm always very satisfied with all of my appointments at Weelsby View. All the Doctors & Nurses take their time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable on any appointment or through any on-line contact,,,,

Unfortunately my partner doesn't want to complain so I'm going to write a review instead to warn others if they wish to join this incompetent surgery. On 13.05.24 my partner rang as he thought he had, had an allergic reaction to insect bites. After being on the phone for an hour and a half he finally gets through to be told he would get a call back after telling the receptionist his symptoms, its now 15.05.24 and still no call. So let me tell you what happened in-between these dates, the right hand side of his face swelled even more causing his eye to shut (all whilst he is still at work) the pain got that intense he couldn't take it anymore and went to see a pharmacist to see if there was anything for the excruciating pain he was having to deal with to be told its shingles...SHINGLES. He was advised to go to GP out of hours which unfortunately doesn't open until 18:30 so he had to go to A&E in a waiting room full of people, luckily he was seen pretty quick and given the antibiotics he needed. One phonecall back and he would have had that sooner but no he had to wait 32 hours and still no phone, apology or anything. Absolutely disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting place. Requests on AskmyGP are ignored or closed without a solution. Medication is changed without consultation. Appointments are made without informing you. Doctors are rude, righteous and patronising. They talk over you and dont answer your queries. If they dont want to listen, they do not listen! They just move on or walk away. Dreadful place to attend

So pleased I got to hear of Weelsby View offering a FREE 24 hour blood pressure monitor. I visited the pharmacy on Friday 24th February to have my blood pressure checked. I was contacted the same afternoon to arrange an appointment for this service. I was fitted with the 24hour monitor on Tuesday 28th February. My results will be emailed to my doctor today (1st March) I now await contact from my G P as to the results. Doing this through my own GP gave me a wait time of 4 weeks for this service! I cannot praise this service and the friendly staff enough! Many Many thanks!

In my experience over the last 2 years they have always been a helpful and courteous practice. By using the askmp GP service, I am always able to get either a telephone consultation/face to face consultation the same day, request prescriptions or even change appointments. A great practice overall. Thank you.

I have recently been struck off...had letter to make appointment with nurse also deliver urgent letter from optician (diabetes) and read my medical notes. Receptionist decided I needed a lecture on not having a mobile or house phone (hard of hearing) I was wasting her time, how could they get in touch with me (holding the letter from them). Then why could I not make this appointment on askmyGP. I tried to explain that I have failed at using it, probably me at fault. after ten mins and my legs giving out I said not to bother. and went to sit and read my notes. Suddenly she shouts from reception desk across room 'DONT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT' Not feeling good at all I responded why you going to strike me off, she responds yes I will try to. I lost it at this point and went to window and threw the paperwork on the desk. she then said leave the building and I responded I am..
I don't condone my behaviour but it appears that she did what she threatened and has had me struck off. I am not bothering finding another GP as this problem will now follow me till I am dead. No longer eligible for my medication.. I would definitely recommend looking for a better and more responsible GP. Pity no negative stars.

As a follow up I now no longer recieve my Diabetic, heart or anxiety medication. They could not even respond to my pension request meaning I may not recieve my pension that I paid into... WHY DID WE EVER PAY INTO ANYTHIG AT ALL TO BE TO KEEP THESE USELESS PEOPLE IN JOBS,

Another add on not able to get any response anywhere I am now looking at the possibility of leagal action. ( not the way I want this to go) Taking money from myself or public purse seems stupid. Would have prefered a better outcome but the ROXTON practice gives no direct recourse to them and will not print this on there site saying it contravenes their policy (Only ONE review ever printed there).

I'm a new patient, made an appointment at the help desk for the first time, got a call from the doctor an hour later, and had a face-to-face appointment the next day. The doctor, Ms. BORMAN, is very professional and accurate in diagnosis. She changed the wrong diagnosis and prescription of the GP doctor in the past. She made an appointment for me with a diabetes professional nurse, CATHERINE MURPHY. The nurse was very patient, carefully checked and replaced me with a new blood sugar meter. , The revolutionary decision is to replace the new diabetes medication, this is the first time I met an expert nurse, very smart! The doctor, Ms. BORMAN, issued an authoritative medical certificate for me. No matter whether I use it at work or other institutions, I have a humane and responsible doctor's conscience. In the past, the absence of a medical certificate has brought me a lot of harm. thank them
