I have had 4 surgeries in the last 5 years at various hospitals across the London area, including at a very new expensive private facility my insurance wouldn't cover.
The post-op care at Nuffield Guildford was by far the best I have ever experienced.
The most caring, attentive, and helpful nurses, aides, doctors, and pharmacist team.
The food was also top notch and cleanliness on point.

I honestly didn't want to go home.

Thank you to everyone that made my stay so comfortable and continues to be available for support in my recovery.

As a patient in the hospital at Guildford.
I felt so grateful to the experiences to the staff at hospital who i helped me to sort out my booking problems and and the issues with the insurance company, especially Graham run round the hospital to different departments helping me, I felt so grateful and appreciated who had demonstrated the excellent customer service, showing me exactly what was the best "CARE", a hospital could given.
While I was having treatment in there, the healthcare assistants, the doctor, the secretary the nurses and the pharmacists were so helpful and caring, all information provided and explained clearly.

I had an appointment with Mr jourdan at your clinic.
Prior to the appointment, I had diligently provided all the necessary documents and details concerning my illness. However, upon my visit, I was informed that my condition is not within the specialist's area of expertise. This was unexpected, considering the information I had shared beforehand.

Despite attending the appointment in good faith, I unfortunately did not receive any medical assistance. There was no examination, no tests were ordered, nor was any prescription provided. The specialist did not offer any guidance or suggest an appropriate course of action. Instead, I was simply informed that my case does not fall under his specialty, leaving me without any support or direction.

Given the lack of service provided, I was surprised and dismayed to receive a bill for the appointment. I strongly believe that it is unjust to charge for a consultation where no treatment or professional advice was given.

Billing. I recently attended an appointment for my daughter with a dermatologist in October. Initially as a fee payer I was told the initial consultation would be £250. Not a problem as I was planning to access the appointment via my private health care. Following the appointment, I received an invoice for £300 despite giving my insurance details upon check in as specified. I also did not notice the fee being invoiced for was £300 not £250 that I was quoted. Any way, I then receive details from my private health cover and the invoice they were given was for £200. So three different amounts! Just be warned, check your fees whether you are private or self paying.

Mostly staffed by Nurse Associates & Care Assistants not fully qualified nursing staff & they're lazy! Care deteriorated dramatically post-op. Poor, late & sparse physio. Miss Gill (surgeon) insistent on patient leaving hospital 24 hrs after op even though not fit to do so. Overall a disappointing experience.

I am currently undergoing a course of Chemotherapy and the treatment I am receiving is excellent in every way.
Everywhere has a high standard of cleanliness, the staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful.
All of these things help to make me feel relaxed and somehow normalise the whole process. The trust and confidence this gives me really makes the world of difference, not only to me but also to my family. We send our heartfelt thanks to all the staff.

Unfortunately, a little bit average, it felt like I was at a fully stretched NHS hospital frankly. My surgeon and the anaesthetist were beyond excellent, which is what I was really after, but there were many little incidents where I had to stick up for myself in the pre and aftercare. Offering someone with a leg cast an inaccessible bath only bathroom when they had shower rooms available and then blaming some remote admin person was silly. Leaving me in wet bed clothing after my op for an hour was unforgivable, and then telling me I told them I was OK with that was bizarre. No-one helped me to the loo or to use my crutches, I did have an idea but still had to fathom it out. They didn't seem to know I was not leaving hospital on one day and then didn't seem to know I was the next day, the Pharmacists got utterly confused and kept coming to see me to review medication, sometimes only an hour or so after another pharmacy visit. One lady who did not say who she was insisted I justify my fully noted allergies on record before giving me my medication. All things I could handle but not my idea of a paid for seamless service. This hospital is clearly way too busy to offer a decent service right now. This is on top of being quoted one sum for an X-ray in outpatients by phone and then being charged something quite different and finding it impossible to get anyone to talk to me about it.
