I started a trial in November and initially all seemed well. The doctors and nursing staff were very professional. That is where it ended! The payments were very haphazard and I queried this. It appears that the payments into my bank were going in under different references. There was no end of problems trying to find out were the missing payments were. It turns out that they were paid by cheque? I was never told about cheques and nor did I ever receive any. When I questioned the non receipt of the cheques, the receptionist as good as called me a liar. I tried on several occasions to speak with a manager, but surprisingly, they were always on their day off. Given that my issue was to do with theft (as the cheques had been cashed), I still have not received a call back. I had asked to be told where the cheques were cashed, to get some idea where the corruption was, but no return call ever happened. I had considered calling the Police as somebody had cashed the cheques, which in fact belonged to me. Somehow I thought that an organisation this size would bury it in bueracracy. The only person that showed any interest was a lady by the name of Lucy, who was very helpful. As expected, she was a nurse and not part of the useless admin team. My advice would be to steer clear. Whilst the medical staff seem like dedicated professionals, that is where it stops and I would not trust anyone on the admin/accounts side.
