such a positive experience at Countess of Chester Hospital and just wanted to share my appreciation. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The nurses and doctors took the time to explain everything properly, making sure I felt comfortable and reassured. You could really tell they cared about their patients, not just as cases but as people. The whole place was clean, well-organised, and ran smoothly, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic team looking after our community!

My experience of this hospital was amazing. My daughter has day surgery at the children's unit. We were both well informed and looked after. We had travelled 120 miles to see the the specialist which was definitely worth the journey. The staff on the unit showed genuine care and interest in my daughter. After all the hospitals we have visited this units people skills and level of care were outstanding. Thank you

We are now on failed discharge three...with a heart rate bouncing between 30-260 bpm. In what sane world does a doctor think this is safe to discharge a patient.

All they have done have drugged her to raise the heart rate then drugged her again to bring it down... then discharged her only to come back in by blue light.

The staff on the wards have been very hard working and clearly just following instructions.

Terrible hospital. Very dangerous and scary to think you can be discharged three time for the same thing and to be brought back for the same thing withing a few hours. Are they trying to kill patients off here

A busy hospital like most. It has an A+E option which is usually very crowded with beds or seat use overloading into the corridors with a 16hr wait to be seen depending how urgency is required. It has a great eye and ear department's, but I would get advice on which car park to use as its a huge hospital.

Would give more stars if I could.
Just leaving today after a few days in the stroke ward 42, diagnosed with ear infections, low potassium and high blood pressure.
Couldn't thank for all the staff support from the high level to the janitor.
True ambassadors for the medical industry, food top nosh too!!
Thank you all so much for helping me recover πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Took ages to find a parking space. Then I was given wrong directions & got lost inside the main building. Eventually, I had my blood test. The staff were brilliant.

I was admitted into the hospital in September 2023, for a bowel bypass. All went well. The nurses in ICU and on ward 53 were brilliant with me. The doctors were very good as well. Can't find a fault with either. Even the tea lady and cleaning staff were absolutely brilliant. All found time to have a chinwag with me, when I was feeling a bit down. I can't thank them enough for fixing my issues.

Was in A&E for 4 hours and then sent to β€œUrgent Treatment Center” where I discharged myself after getting no treatment for 8 hours . Most shocking views where people where SMOKING right in front of every entrance of Chester Hospital..
