The online receptionist for this practice works really well and I’ve always been contacted back on the same day, within 10 mins when urgent. You can also specify that you don’t think an issue is urgent and that you’d be happy with a phone consultation. On the one occasion where I was given an appointment weeks in advance I filled the form in again explaining the issue was more urgent, and I got another appointment within 24hrs.
There are a lot of doctors at this practice, so getting a follow up with the same doctor can be tricky and take longer.
I think the difficulty lies with patients who are less tech savvy or want to speak to someone, as the receptionists simply fill in the same online form, and some find this intrusive to explain their condition over the phone to admin staff, however it’s the best way to quickly triage the cases and understand urgency.

I have had 2 heart attacks and the follow up treatment has been non existent. No blood pressure checks, no bloods, no cholesterol checks in ages. Can’t get an appointment for love nor money, I was told to go to hospital by the practice to get my bloods checked. I am taking lots of medication and haven’t had a review in ages as I can’t get an appointment. Whenever I try to book an appointment there are none available or I have to wait over a month. In September I was involved in a road traffic accident and ever since have been getting severe headaches and Tinnitus. This is impacting on my quality of life as I am struggling to sleep on a night and also causing potential danger at work as I am unable to concentrate, and guess what? I have to wait over a month for an appointment. I thought that once you got into your 60’s the NHS looked after you. Apparently not this practice. Well I am getting my MP involved and the ombudsman. Stay away from this practice, it will have a one star rating before long.
Further to this post I have been waiting 6 weeks for an urgent appointment I have had it cancelled and a date given that is as much use as an ash tray on a motorbike. I have to give 6 weeks notice at work so will need to wait another 6 weeks (12 weeks) in total for an urgent appointment. I am not sleeping, in constant pain. This practice is worse than useless, please avoid, find another practice. Just look at reviews and ratings!

Feel very lucky to have a doctors that offer online appointment requests and can allocate appointments in good time! I got health anxiety 2 years ago, so having a good or bad experience at the doctors can be a little make or break for my mental health, however all doctors I’ve had since have been so amazing at communicating with me in a way that offers clear information, emoathy, and me leaving like they understood what I needed. Really grateful for everything.

Great Practice, the online reception is great. Everytime I have needed an appointment, I fill in the form and never have to wait long to be contacted. Same day appointment if urgent, or a varied choice of appointments if non urgent. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Our whole family has moved to this practice and we are very happy that we did.

I accidentally locked myself out of my system on line account
I went to the surgery and filled I the relevant reset forms in
After 3 weeks of emails to the surgery and my requests being ignored I am writing this review I have sent my details again and again with no acceptable response I can only surmise that they have made a admin error and don't know what they are doing
If they cannot resolve a simple problem like this what are they like with your health needs
I am a world traveller and need to have access to my medical records in case of emergency this means nothing to these people

i went in into surgery relation to my mental health, the surgery gave me an appointment two weeks down the line. Unfortunately, rather than looking at the date i looked on the day which was the following thursday, i went into surgery on time the following surgery after explaining my mental health was suffering and it was urgent i speak to a doctor, two weeks was the earliest. i do not think that someone suffeing from mental health issues should have to wait two weeks for an appointment for an appointment with a GP. i think the UK's care system is broken towards people suffering from mental health.

The online booking is a bit long winded but works and you'll be contacted fairly quickly with an appointment date. When I had to call to change an appointment I got through no problem and the reception and medical staff at the two surgeries I've dealt with have been really nice and helpful. Sites are clean and modern, appointment waits vary but aren't terrible - days/weeks rather than months so all in all pretty happy with them!
