Everyone who can should leave this practice, it should be shut down. Moving to Felixstowe Road is the best thing I’ve done. The receptionists are rude and seem to enjoy it, I was misinformed via a phone call that my bloods show I’m pregnant (6 months along), when I went to reception panicking and in tears about the ultrasound given how far along I supposedly was, I was frowned at and told ‘how long is a piece of string’. Another time, I had also gone to the pharmacy to pick up my contraception and it was a totally different pill, which I had received no information on or had no knowledge about the switch. I put in a formal complaint about this practice and received a pathetic letter back which meant/ done/ changed nothing.

After having years of terrible care elsewhere, I chose to change to Ravenswood last year...and I should have done it years ago! I have only ever been met with politeness and helpfulness by the receptionists and the medical staff have been brilliant. I honestly cannot fault them at all.

Honestly this place is a joke, but jokes are funny and there is nothing funny about this establishment. They treat their patients like idiots. When you can actually make a telephone appointment which is never, they then change the date of the appointment to suit themselves but never ever bother to notify the patient. This has happened to me time and time again. You then phone up and know what rubbish the receptionists will say to you. And of course it's always the patients fault, because apparently your an idiot and have the wrong date and time. (No it's next Friday) Really? So why do I have a text from Ravenswood stating the time and date is today? The receptionists are obviously given a script of what to say to patients because they say the same thing every time. Then in the end after arguing with them and stating you have proof of a text message they sent with time and date, they then finally say sorry, and say oh you should of been notified of the change of appointment. They moan that patients don't turn up to appointments and it costs the NHS £30 per person, but it's OK for them to do it to their patients, isn't it Ravenswood! This place has gone down hill and I wouldn't recommend anyone to join this practice. They even had my phone contact number under a different patients name at the practice, maybe that's another reason I don't have the correct time and date hey, because they have text another patient with my appointment details. How professionally unprofessional! I wouldn't give 1 start but unfortunately I don't have a choice!

This place is the worse medical practice ever. I can never make an appointment with a doctor online or over the phone. The online option doesn't work with this surgery and over the phone you have to call between 8 & 9 am and queue for over an hour and 15 minutes. Also if you request a prescription and it was declined for any reason you have to call again in the morning between 8-9 am and queue for an hour and 15 min to say in 30 seconds that you need to book a telephone appointment.

You can only call for appointments between 8 and 9 am and you can't book an appointment or request for medication during working hours after 9 am.

Not easy to get through,recently you can ask for a call back and reception will call you back but no guarantee of an appointment. Whenever I managed to get an appointment I received excellent care and attention. Thanks

joke not medical practice. call to reception for appointment they told no appointment available. then I call 111 and suddenly GP have appointment available such a joke.
