Unfortunately the first test pack had faulty lancets. The amount of blood required from a finger lance is very significant. I was unable to obtain the required amount despite several attempts.. Do not underestimate the difficulty in obtaining a large amount of blood in a vial from this route. I would strongly discourage anyone else from going down this route. I forgot about contacting them due to inattentive ADHD and serious health issues. When I asked for a refund excluding their incurred costs ie sending out test kit they blankly refused. They have not tested anything so they are clearly being unreasonable. Other providers charge £8 for a home test kit, so quite a profitable business model. They offered for me to go to a clinic, far away for £35 for a venous sample or pay £59 for a visit. I will not be going down that avenue.

Don't use medichecks if you need results quickly. They received my sample on Tuesday @ 9.20am, the website says estimated 1-2 days but it's Sunday (6 days later) and still no sign of my results. Finally found out yesterday they've had an IT issue, if they'd let me know earlier (I've emailed and called multiple times) I could have made alternative arrangements. Completely unacceptable. Their customer service is closed over the weekend so I haven't even been able to chase them for the past 2 days!

Used medichecks to manage a thyroid condition however twice in 1 year I have found the service giving me incorrect results! I complained the first time it happened and Medichecks said it would investigate. However it had happened again and I have lost trust in the service. Not acceptable quality when helping people with their health, particularly given the costs of these tests. Use wisely.

So far i have found medichecks pretty good being as my Gp does not do an iron panel only ferritin which i dont find reliable for iron status just going by ferritin alone i had my bloods done by Gp which included ferritin i also had my iron status done by yourselves at same time what i couldnt understand is my ferritin on your tests are always way higher with ranges same as my GP results. Not the first time this has happened not just slightly different a lot higher

I've used this company several times and the staff are always friendly and efficient but Maisie really went the extra mile to assist me with my queries and make sure everything was as it should be with the tests I needed.

Whilst what they offer is great, the service has been so poor. Kit expired, and not one single email was sent to warn me of this. There were medical reasons to why I couldn’t test sooner, yet medichecks don’t seem to care and just said I have to order a new one. When the physical kit cost is so low, and I’ve already paid for a medical interpretation which they aren’t happy to offer anymore.
