Crikey, Goto the rapid care website, fill out a long form, then get an invite to book an appointment, my surgery is missing from the list, book the appointment, then have to ring it to get them to change to my surgery, I think if things don’t improve I will have to go elsewhere, which is a shame as Dr Wells is excellent.

Well people ,when I phoned this morning
Hoping for an appointment It was answered very quickly and the receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable.I was told the doctor would phone me back .I thought here we go (due to reviews) The team phoned me back and I have an appointment directed to the right person without wasting the GPS time so I think that is very good service. so let’s give the new system a chance people of East Grinstead

I am giving a 1 star as it is not possible to give 0 stars. I have not been able to get an appointment for over a year, despite phoning regularly. Reception tells me that all appointments are gone and to call again next week. When I call the following week, I get the same answer. I have also tried getting an appointment using their new online appointment system and, after spending 10 minutes going through the questions, get the same response that no appointments are available and to try again another time. It is clear that Modality are rationing the health care of their patients to make more profit. I have no choice but to change GP.

After 10 minutes of filling in a questionnaire I got a sameday appointment for 14.00 but it was at Modality Burgess Hill, not very local to East Grinstead!! Tried calling the number but it was for emergency calls only up to 14.30.

Recently I received a text asking me to book a review to discuss blood results. On phoning the surgery I was told to phone at 10.30am for an appointment which would be available earliest in three weeks.
I have phoned 3 days running now and been refused an appointment by the receptionist each time. Evidently 'a review' of test results is 'only a routine appointment,' and there are no appointments available.
I am not impressed by the service offered by this practice and would like information on who I can turn to for help in reviewing non-optimum test results.

Awful. My practice has gone into sharp decline since becoming part of Modality. I've left and am now receiving amazing care from another local surgery.

Called as the phone lines opened at 8.30am, was caller number 9 in the queue. Before I got down to number 5 in the queue, the recording changed to say there are no appointments left for today! I stayed on the line, to be told to use online triage or 111. If I want a non urgent appointment, I can phone next week, as they are all full until May, and can't be booked yet! If I walk into my surgery on any given day, I will find 3 staff behind the counter and one or two patients in the waiting room. This surgery has gone so far downhill since it became Modality that I'm surprised it hasn't sunk..

Appallingly bad. The doctors are great, if you can see one. Good luck with that bit though. The phone system and procedures are designed to make you give up. You’re supposed to call for appointments at 08:30, but when you do, they’ve run out of appts before you reach the front of the queue. So now I’m at an NHS walk in centre, where despite everyone trying their best, the wait time is 4 hours.
