The reception team are amazing very friendly and helpful. The Doctors who are amazing at what they do, I fear as the small village expands they are becoming increasingly overwhelmed by numbers for a small surgery. Trying to get an appointment to see the doctor is near on impossible. I recently tried to see the doctor with severe pain and discomfort in my throat, but because I had teeth taken out to go to the dentist. A few hours later I went to A&E such was my discomfort only to be told I had a life threatening infection that required specialist surgery ASAP. I went to Queens hospital Nottingham to undergo emergency life saving surgery. I don’t want this to come across like I’m having a go at the doctors because I have nothing but respect for them and the job they do. But before the councils and government approve planning permission in small villages they should look at little doctors surgeries first and maybe build them a new bigger surgery so they can employ more doctors to help more people. Rather than putting the doctors under so much stress and pressure. After all they are trying to help us. I will also write to the local authorities because I want to support the doctors because they are truly committed to helping us. Another reason for writing this is for other members of the community to help support the doctors surgery as the village continues to expand. Time for a bigger surgery to elevate the pressure and stress on our NHS. To everyone at the surgery I think you are all amazing.
