I first began seeing Marie when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy while I was suffering with pregnancy insomnia. Oh, how I wished I had seen her sooner! My symptoms eased after the first session and Marie also treated other pregnancy symptoms, I was suffering with including; water retention and swollen ankles. I never ever suffered with swollen ankles again!

I was initially very nervous at my first session as I do not like needles but as soon as Marie opened the door, I knew I was in safe hands! She completely put me at ease. Marie really took her time to speak with me about my concerns and anxiety around pregnancy and I felt so much better after every treatment.

I regularly saw Marie right up until my son was born and I feel that the regular treatments I had played a huge part in me feeling so well and active during those last few weeks. The post birth treatments were amazing and just what I needed when I was feeling sleep deprived and exhausted. I continue to have treatments when I am not feeling 100% and they pick me up straight away! I would recommend Marie to anyone.

Wow…...don’t hesitate to book. Marie and acupuncture is the real deal, she will from now on be my first port of call.

Firstly, I’d like to say a massive thank you to Marie. She and her amazing talent has brought me back for a near career ending sports injury and psychologically for me, a very dark place.

I was 18 months into trying to resolve an injury acquired during a climbing accident. Which basically resulted in a bizarre neuropathy, reduced motor function and atrophy of my right hand, arm and shoulder. I’d exhausted every avenue……2 orthopaedic surgeons, one cervical neurosurgeon, 4 physiotherapists, one osteopath, one chiropractor, one specialist hand therapist, a course of magnetic resonance therapy, one neurologist, lots of blood tests and testing and 9 MRI scans – from my head to my hand twice over.

Western diagnostic opinions have settled on nerve damage/lesion in my Brachial Plexus or in the Ulnar Nerve in my elbow combined with a partial tear in my beak thumb ligament, Scapholunate ligament wrist damage, partial tear from origin in my elbow MCL and a labral tear in my shoulder. Basically, I’d made a real mess of myself and my injury was extremely complex.

My western medical experience was so segregated and at no point had anyone attempted to treat me as a whole person with a whole-body approach to diagnosis, treatment and healing.

I hate to say it but I was initially sceptical of acupuncture but at a point of absolute desperation I thought I’ll give this a go. I’d read other reviews on Marie’s website and had noticed this theme of people engaging in acupuncture as a last resort……but with the most amazing results. The same goes for me……. I’ve been humbly educated and quite simply, fixed!

From my first session I was totally blown away. Marie was completely honest with me. If she didn’t think she could help she would say so. From the first session, my body instantly responded positively and then Marie told me what I so desperately needed and wanted to hear……In a an extremely professional, calm, reassuring manner she said she could help, it may take a while but most importantly she was so confident and positive. I was sold!

My body needed some serious assistance to help fix itself and that’s what Marie and acupuncture did for me.

Believe in the process and reap the results. I did and now I’m back to business with a massive spring in my step and with a right arm that’s better than ever.

I’m more than happy to leave a review for Marie. Life had been difficult since early 2018 when we had a family illness which then unfortunately became a bereavement – it took a lot out of me both physically, mentally and emotionally. On top of this I then had a nagging shoulder injury which left me with constant pain and feeling that my movement would never be the same. I’d visited my GP, had Physio, tried strengthening exercises and was having to take pain killers to help with my shoulder.
I found Marie on our local village FB page and thought “its worth giving a go” as nothing else seemed to be working with my shoulder. Right from my first session with Marie I started to feel better. She not only helped with my shoulder but my general take on life.
Being an Engineer I’m always inquisitive on how things work – can I explain how Marie has helped – I can’t explain the science behind it but what I can say that she has made a dramatic difference to my life as I currently have no shoulder pain and physically, mentally and emotionally I feel back on top of my game, I have so much more energy and I can only put it down to Marie’s knowledge and care.
Would I recommend Marie – absolutely – as I said to her this morning I feel like I’ve had a CTRL/ALT/DELETE Reboot on life! ?

I think I am beginning to loose count how many times I’ve called Marie asking for a rescue. First time - out of desperation as pulled my back muscle and couldn’t move. It was fascinating to feel how with every needle the pain was disappearing. I have since used accupuncture for both acute trauma moments ( torn knee ligament / pain) as well as general wellness. My Renaud's symptoms have improved so is general muscle tension/ menopause symptoms. Marie has got an amazing knowledge where the needles need to go to address the symptoms you report. And by the way - you might find that the ones you haven’t reported will improve too ))) separate thank you for helping me out yesterday - my knee was so stiff and this morning there is not a sign, feel fully functional again.
