I already attend the weekly yoga classes but this Sunday I attended the yoga and journaling workshop (March 2024) and it was lovely.

One hour of calming yoga then we were treated to choc and peanut butter covered dates to finish which were delicious!

Then we set to work on writing from prompts from Sally in our journals. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a journaling workshop but it was kept quite private and no one was encouraged to share private intimate details about what they’d written. Having said that I did feel like I was in a safe enough space to share if I could. So this was lovely to know.

After the journaling she made us a lovely nourishing lunch of pea, leak and potato soup with homemade focaccia along with salad.
In our goodie bag to take home was the best muffin I had tried in ages. (Rhubarb crumble muffin).
All in all I’d highly recommend this workshop to just switch off and remember what it means to come back to honouring you for some much needed R & R.

I have been attending the Girls 10+ Yoga class and enjoy it so much! Sally is a wonderful instructor and she makes the classes so much fun. Ever since I’ve started my yoga classes I have become a lot more flexible, and I come out feeling so calm and refreshed. Every term we focus on different topics (self respect/being non judgemental), and we do small activities each week working on that. We are even taught some of the poses in sanscript.
