My mum returned home recently after 6 weeks at Hillside. She had become unwell twice over the last 3 months, and after 2 hospital stays, and a small operation, needed building back up both in terms of confidence and strength.
The staff all seem friendly and kind. Whilst there, mum had 3 falls at night, and staff responded quickly, which on one particular occasion, potentially saved mum's life!!!
It's a small unit, with I believe 22 beds. Patients are encouraged to mix, and join in activities where possible. Overall, a good experience for my mum.
