If I could give zero stars I would, been with them since I was 18 and never received any help, constantly tried to make me seem crazy, told me I imagined the tumor I had on my spine WHICH I HAD SURGERY FOR AND HAVE A SCAR, they told me that I don’t need help and don’t bother to see me, they tell me i will be seeing a certain doctor and then change it at the last minute all the “doctors” definitely don’t have the right qualifications for here and I don’t know how it’s still running. This isn’t a mental health service, this is purgatory for the people the government can’t be bothered with

I would love to know how many poor souls they have inadvertently killed with their incompetence. Wastes of space who do nothing but drag vulnerable people further into a spiral of despair. I have watched you reduce my loved one to a shell of his former self. You have done NOTHING. You can’t even get something as simple as a prescription right. You phone up to change an appointment to the day it was already booked for. You write lies on your notes to make it look like you’re doing your job. Every single member of staff here should hang their heads in shame and I hope to God none of you ever have a loved one in a crisis who needs support in Crawley because Crawley’s “mental health specialist team” are bone idle and do not care for the harm they cause. Shame on you all. You have been reported to PALS and if I get nowhere with them I will take it as far as I possibly can, because unlike you I care and don’t want to see a loved one die prematurely.

Such unprofessional people. Really let me down wrote lies about me . I moved to this area nearly 2yrs ago they completely messed up my care plan never got back to me after several complaints. I would have that place shut down. My mental health has got worse and noone has listened Even reception kept lying to me on the phone. Now you can imagine how much a person will feel let down and scared to speak any so called professional any more . Every medical letter i received had been opened aswell. Im so scared and let down .

Been with them since I was 18. I’m now 25.
Lack of communication from doctors. Lies upon lies about me missing appointments when appointments weren’t made.

Got told I needed to have an mri scan then it never happened. They told me “we wanted you to have an mri scan because we thought you might have a brain tumour but we don’t think that anymore”. Like, what doctor, mental or otherwise, says that?!?!
I swear, they cause more harm than preventing it.

Care plan, never happened.
Care worker, never happened.
Constant condescension, always.

These people don’t care as long as they pick up their pay check at the end of the month.

Edit: About to turn 28, still haven’t received mental health help. Asked for medication to be reinstated, nothing from them. Actually went in there and spoke to reception while getting the stink eye. Still haven’t had that mri scan. How on earth they received outstanding for how caring they are… this is a joke. We no longer live in a democracy. By the way, Sussex partnership mentions they have occupational therapists… so why tell patients to go and find other services instead of treating them (which is states on Sussex partnership that they offer treatment). Absolute disgrace of a service.

Further edit: Turn 29 in a few months, guess what’s still happening?

Further further edit: Been given a new doctor who takes multiple weeks off at a time. Can’t write letters properly and fails to follow simple instruction. Have had zero communication with her and it’s all been done through the receptions who have sent emails. Worst service.

Absolute disgrace of a service. Like previous reviews I have read, the lack of care is incredible, they have no compassion what so ever. The drs lie/twist things which make you feel even crazier then act confused and surprised when you are beyond angry and frustrated!

No communication, I’ve had no face to face with my dr EVER! If I phone to receive support I’m made to feel like a burden and am not entitled to even just the phone call. When I do finally get to speak to someone they label it as a “review” which I only realised when they send a letter to my GP stating I was extremely emotional during the said “review” I was unaware I was having!

They left me with no medication or source to get any and provided no help whilst I was extremely distressed/stressed with being unmedicated!

This place should really be investigated by CQC as the care is so horrendous!

They make people more unwell than before they turned up there! I for one can say my mental health has plummeted since being under their care, and the best thing is…….they are doing nothing about it.

Yes I've had a bad experience, was referred for assessment with a view of diagnosis, but I got some worker who wasn't trained in anything, said she was 'support' and just sent me links that I found myself years ago.

I had weekly phonecall meetings and she was late calling for every single one. I then stopped answering because she was so unreliable.

I would work myself up so much waiting for her to call at a set time, and she never did. One time she called on the completely wrong day!

Then she had the audacity to send a letter to my GP saying that I "disengaged" !!

I previously had the most wonderful and supportive care co ordinator but this was some time ago and there have been many changes to the detriment and cost of very vulnerable people. The staff are an absolute disgrace and they should be thoroughly ashamed. The severe lack of mental health care and communication is beyond disgusting and totally unacceptable. If you are in any type of health care your duty is to vulnerable patients other wise as I see it you shouldn't be doing the job. I speak from my own family experience of NHS work, most members of my family have also worked for the NHS! People are NOT a number and neither are they cattle. People deserve so much more and if I had my way I wouldn't even be giving rating one star! The whole place should be totally shut down and only properly educated and dedicated and deserving staff employed to care for already very vulnerable people in the community. Last time I spoke with a member of staff after another failed referal from my GP they lied and said that I had agreed to be discharged, I never said any such thing! Also after having been promised one on one therapy they suggested recovery college, like being with a whole group of strange people and being expected to share really personal stuff is def not going to aid or help in recovery, that was the whole purpose of the promised one to one therapy in the first place. Also labels are what are stuck on jam jars and other containers not people!
