I would rate this hospital zero stars. Horrendous hospital I was here last year. The staff are horrible and terrible specially the black staffs, they do not even care. I was locked up in seclusion. The seclusion area was very dirty. Staff don’t even care. They don’t even attend to your needs.

This hospital is a nightmare. I had terrible memories from this hospital. As soon as I came into this hospital, the next day I was in seclusion.

The staff removed all my clothes in seclusion and I was literally in underwear. Very demeaning and disrespectful staff. They don’t care about what they do to patients. I came out worse than I was. This hospital needs shutting down ASAP.

Experienced one of the worst times of my life and got sent to this ward on a section. It was tough in there, had a few strange experiences which I won’t go in to detail! The staff were fantastic, they all deserve a medal especially Sandra who works so hard to keep everyone happy, and made me feel less anxious in there. Rachel (Edna!) was also a great member of staff too and not forgetting Nick. I’m a carer myself so I understand how difficult the job can be. Thanks to all of you for helping me recover from a very low point in my life and I wish you all the very best in the future.

If i could give ZERO i would! My dad is an unwell patient here at the moment and the communication is absolutley DISGUSTING!! Not only did i ring over 100 times in 7 days with ZERO answer but then the staff also lie to you about what they are going to do goinfgforward. They fob you off, lie and at times abit patronising. I will be complaining to PALS and CQC for sure! Absolutley VILE. They are making my dad even more poorly than what he was before he went in!! They are very dismissive.

I’m writing this from an account separate to my other reviews just to preserve my privacy. However, given the complaints I’ve filed with PALS I’m sure Park House Mental Health department will have to problems recognising me.
Park House and Dr Ergi and her team provide the service, or rather lack of care, utter negligence and lack of whatever medical conscience that’s simply impossible to describe.
The specialist herself found the time to see me once in the last one year and a half, and that after numerous cancellations and rescheduling. After that appointment she decided to change my 15yo diagnosis whilst criticising the medical report from the specialist I had in my country for years which was “not good enough” for her. Shame though she later admitted she had no time to actually confirm my actual diagnosis! Since the beginning of Covid19 I’ve been left on my own, with random calls every 6 months of people checking on me. And worst part was at the end of last year when I needed my medication increased in emergency but the Park House prescriber “forgot” to send it to my GP and it took almost 2 weeks to sort! When I was calling them crying and trying to get my prescription sorted, I was told to...chill!!!!
Right now I’m waiting to be transferred and put under care of another hospital. However I believe everyone who even risks being treated by Park House should know that that place will simply worsen your state. Their indifference, their lack of interest in their patients’s wellbeing, the utter lack of care they provide you with will simply increase your distress, and no matter how you feel they just won’t care and won’t help.

They would not let me put no stars. This place is not good. My husband has been assessed as having only a slight memory problem, which is quite an understatement. We have been waiting for a further appointment for 4 months now despite the GP chasing them as a matter of urgency. Every time I read about the importance of an early diagnosis, I am disgusted and sadly have reached the end of my tether.
One I had complained I believe we were blacklisted. Eventually my husband was diagnosed, using the scans and information from 6 months prior to the diagnosis. Once in the system, the service was good until discharge when it feels you are simply cast adrift. I will not even mention the Admiral Nurse service.

I am currently here at the minute the ward is dirty staff are so unprofessional and I was taking 4 lots of meds a day now I havnt been given any. Not eaten in 3 days and they dont care. I asked to be moved to a different hospital for them to section me. It's a joke I will be leaving in a worse state than I came in on. Play the game they want get released and do the same thing again that brought me here. They do not care
