55 minutes in crisis...
And I'm now 2nd in queue.....
I'm even more suicidal than I was when first I dialled this ' help ' line...
I'm angry and tired of the ' false ' promises now, so so worn out with everything. But these promises of help just top it off.
Nobody follows through on their promises.
2.5 stars.... somebody got lucky with someone who.actually cared enough to follow through.
Personally, you don't deserve the 2.5 stars....
" Crisis team " = wait for over an hr.... I'll post again if anybody ever answers....

As I write this I'm in worse than crisis. Sussex partnership stitched me up big time, went to slyly section me, arranging private ambulance behind my back, they knew hospitalisation would make my situation a million times worse, they ignored, ambulance arrived, I fled, so now a suicidal fugitive. Tried this helpline, on hold, never got to speak to someone, so now plans to end it will proceed. Won't be HANGING around. Service not fit for purpose. Could not ring 111 or 999 as they would use my mobile signal to locate me.

Normally pretty good, have to wait about 30 minutes but once you get through they are pretty good. However tonight I’ve been on hold (and still am) for 1 hour and 20 minutes with no one picking up. I have to hold because there is no one else I can talk to like I can with SMHL.

Always been around 45mins hold time, so I expect it when I call. Read a review saying make the right noises but don't care and thought I've never experienced that, maybe only once or twice ish..until tonight.. I am so overwhelmed with emotions on a dangerous level..It was 45mins hold to talk to exactly that. I think a brick would of been more helpful and sympathetic not asking stupid questions about things irrelevant to what I'm experiencing.. It was like having a chat with an chat bot.. I am 100x worse then when I phoned. I hung up in the end as he obviously from the beginning could not be bothered and when he ran out of scripted questions told me to contact another charity chat line.. i explained that the point of ringing them was for help.. Then i told him dont worry quite angrily, thats when i hung up..
It has taken me ages to ring through anxiety and worrying about having exactly the conversation I just had.. There are some great workers. But this person I spoke to is not appropriate for the job.. I think it would of been better if he'd hung up, then try have an attempt at a conversation with him..The stars are for the workers that care and do genuinely try..For them I would give a million stars, but for the workers who don't care or are not in the right head space to do it properly, don't do this job.. Your costing peoples lives with your incompetence..
Ps please change hold music to meditation music. Really increases anxiety and stress the hold nusic you have now. Thankyou

Was told after being suicidal and having frequent Chrises points over 4 months that I call allot !! Yes that’s your job ! Don’t make me feel a burden for being unwell, and the qualified practitioner asks me how can we help you as this is not working for you , your the professional! Never in my life have I ever experienced such a bad call handler , make you feel bad for being unwell , if I’m unwell I will call as many times in the week and guess what if you can’t hack your job then work for a morgue as your better suited.

If I could give 0 stars I could. Does anyone ever answer the phone? I always get told to call the line but never ever get anyone to answer, I have tried calling several times and each time I leave it for an hour and then I just give up.... When I tell sussex partnership that I have never managed to get through they also seem surprised, I get stuck on a loop of operator will be with you shortly but they never are. I feel let down, I have rang in a crisis but never get through to someone. Fund it more or get more staff i dont know but this is disgusting for a mental health line.

I spoke to a woman called Lucy tonight and she was the most understanding, friendliest and comforting woman of all. Would 100% recommend calling them if you are low. She deserves raise she has made me feel so much better, love you Lucy ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This week I have/am experiencing a crisis.
I have been well for a while, but today and this week I feel desperate.
The help I have received from the Sussex mental health line, and there co ordinators, has been a lifeline.
I don’t feel well I’m still in a relapse, but there time and compassion on the calls, Since Wednesday has been a huge support.
