I have recently left the Grimethorpe area and did not manage to go to the surgery to thank the receptionists and nurses and doctors .They are so busy all the time but still manage to be pleasant and on reception always managed a smile.Special mention to Dr Sam who I can not praise enough .Thank you all

Surgery used to be amazing but it's almost like the GPs don't work there any more. Always referred to i-heart which is always permanently engaged.

Terrible! You have to ring a million times to get through, once you get through if you ever even do there's no appointments!! I've got to the point now where I just don't ring up because I know I won't get through or if I finally do I won't get an appointment anyway! Waste of time! There's ONE receptionist that's lovely and helpful the rest are grumpy and make you feel bad for asking info or for an appointment. Basically they make you feel bad for asking them to do there job. There's a few nurses and doctors that are great but some are questionable! Sometimes feel like they fob you off and once I explained to a doctor what was wrong with me and he laughed.... Made me feel utter rubbish so yeah I would register here!

Phones do work bit not between 11.38/13.15 because break and shift changeover ( most places has staggered breaks)

Can someone explain to me why they have busy telephone lines? and you go to the clinic and the women are drinking a cup of coffee ? For a few days I have been calling from 8 am ... after 300 calls you kindly pick up the phone and tell me that, unfortunately, there are no more doctor appointments available today?

Grimethorpe surgery has dropped is professional attitude towards patients getting appointments blaming government finances, but did you know that each surgery receives from NHS approx:- £159-61 (2020/21 records) per patient. Grimethorpe has 7288 registered patients which means they receive £1,163,237-68 and they are having problems with appointments not being able to get doctors appointments. Someone in Grimethorpe is milking the money. Perhaps they shouldn't be greedy with taking on so many patients for money.
