Carrie Cort, from Sussex Green Living, came and ran workshops across Key Stage 2 at our primary school as part of the Sussex Green Living N&P fund. The children had the most brilliant sessions, learning about produce, both local and from further away. They looked at a miniature garden and span the fortune wheel to learn even more, then designed eco friendly animals. Carrie was energetic, organised and engaging, and pitched each session absolutely right. The culmination of the morning was in building our very own unique Pollination Station outside the front of our school. The children loved all of the activities and now we have a lasting legacy to remind us of our fabulous learning from the day. Would 100% recommend to other schools.

Simon did a great job of sorting out the connection between the remote and main unit of the indoor/outdoor thermometer and also sorted the torch at the same time. He also gave a group of fellow volunteers some really useful tips on batteries and battery life.
It was suggested that a short hand out on the subject might prove useful and interesting to the general public.

I visited the Horsham Repair Cafe on Saturday 27th July with a faulty hedge trimmer that kept cutting out.
I was seen at my appointment time and the issue was pinpointed very quickly and fixed in less than 15 minutes. I was also given some excellent advice on maintaining the hedge trimmer in future.
I also stopped by the refill team to top up my fabric softener for my washing machine.
Always a warm welcome when I visit and the work the team does so tirelessly is wonderful.

What an amazing bunch. Our pet rabbit chewed trough an expensive smart lamp and after trying to repair I thought it would have to go to the skip. Took it to hosham repair cafe and Neil did a lovely job and fixed it! Everyone was so nice and friendly and a lively community feel to the place. Thank you

I booked a clothing repair slot at the Horsham Repair Cafe of 27th April. A great experience, Ros didn't just say "chuck those torn pyjamas away" - rather, she carefully resewed them together, and patched my favourite shirt into the bargain! The whole Green Hub atmosphere is very positive, recycling info etc on the south side - refills and repairs on the other - where I think there were 6 hardware/electrical repairers in action, doing great work to avoid waste. I recommend a visit - last Saturday of every month.

Superb mending by Rosalin. Just told my brother about the Repair Café. It's such a good idea.
They've previously fixed our fibre optic Christmas tree and our dehumidifier.
