I recently had a referral to Worthing Hospital. With a two week urgent appointments had to have a endoscopy and CT Scan both done within three days after seeing endoscopy consultant. Our NHS is brilliant and the staff in both departments were amazing. I was worried about having a camera put down my throat. I had spray and sedation can't remember anything. But thank you to all the staff who gave looked after me this week.

Have been several times for babies being born and pediatric a and e. Maternity staff were all really excellent. Food actually quite tasty I thought.

A and E very busy but they do get to you and felt like they listened to our concerns.

Lots of building work going on at the moment, best bet for parking is opposite hospital NOT in hospital carpark.

I just want to say how amazingly efficient my experience was yesterday. I went to A&E at 11 am, after triage and x-rays I was diagnosed by professional, friendly, empthic staff and discharged at 12.30pm. This is the 3rd positive experience my family have had with this hospital in 4yrs of living in this area. Much better than Hertfordshire where we come from. We would just like to give full marks and say a huge thank you ?

Bad, and traumatic experiences both times, while having my children. Staff laughed at me, we're not professional, and puts me off having anymore babies in this hospital.
I also had surgery on my tummy, years later, back in hospital, doctors saw my scar, commented " and that was done here!" .
They do not take mental illness seriously. Night staff laugh about you. I wanted to walk out at 1am with my new baby. Planning on going to the.hospital in Chichester in the future, which is a train ride away, when Worthing is only a 10 minute walk from us.

Came in yesterday with my wife who had an emergency. All the staff we came across were fantastic, in particular Brian, volunteer at reception. He ran around helping us out in our panic.
Brian, I hope you see this- you are an absolute gentleman and an asset to the hospital. Thank you.

Turned up last night with my partner. There was a couple there and her husband was in so much pain heard her say that her husbands going to toilet and loosing a lot of blood. He was groaning walking around in pain. The lady went up to the desk a few times as she was seeing other patients going through to see the doctors. She even asked if he could have some more medication. The receptionist was so rude saying there’s nothing she can do but told her to just sit down and wait her turn.
Another patient came in with 2 police officers . They spoke to this lady behind the desk given details. Saying he’s took an overdose. He was in a bad way. She looked up and said abruptly I can’t help him if he keeps walking away. Then the police were so caring looking out for this young man. They asked the receptionist if there’s a quiet room they can use and sit with him. She said no he’s to wait in the waiting room with everyone else and wait his turn. It’s disgusting and so rude this lady receptionist talking to these patients. She did have short grey/ blonde hair and wore glasses hopefully someone might have a word to her

Was seen almost immediately. Well, I was asked on arrival for a urine sample, and the doctor was waiting for me when I came out. Very charming, professional doctor who treated me with respect and humour rather than talking down to me. He allowed me to work together with him to formulate a treatment plan for me. Very impressed.

I had to have an MRI scan on 1st Oct 2024. Whilst in the scanning machine I suffered a horrific coughing attack. Couldn't breath and was chocking . Paul and Smith the 2 radiographers who were on duty very quickly got me out and calmed me down . It was very scary. I did manage to have the scan again successfully. I honestly can't thank these 2 members of staff enough. Excellent service ? thank you both . Joan Niblo
