My Mother was admitted to Peter’s Ward in Renal and spent almost 2 weeks because of blood clot and Dialysis got delayed.
The Nurses and Doctors were very helpful and supportive. It took a little while, but my MuM got good treatment and the surgery was done correctly and comfortably.
Also, the Food Service Team provided excellent service by making sure Patients were fed regularly.

Thank You to all who helped my Mother back to recovery.

Was on a visit.
Noting the cqc rating, the hospital appeared clean and well kept and staff helpful and friendly.
Visited the chapel, through small is a welcoming oasis of peace and quiet. Includes nice simplist stations of the Cross, icons and stain glass windows.
Worth spending time here.

I had a quick and efficient experience at Hammersmith hospital. Paid parking was available and there were a few buses that can take you right in front of the hospital.

Signage was good and everything was easy to find.

A few cafes with plenty of toilets inside.

My appointment was perfectly on time. I didn’t have to wait and the doctor and nurses were knowledgable. I was happy with the experience.

I just want to give the imaging department 5 stars, especially the MRI team and the CT team. Fast, efficient and friendly. Put me at my ease. Time is of the essence because I am moving to a different health authority later this month so the appointment team found me two cancellations and slotted me in. This is the way the NHS should work.

Firstly, my 1-star rating is not for Hammersmith Hospital itself but solely for the RUDE behavior of one staff member from the blood test team.

My husband and I had 5:40 and 5:50 blood test appointments today (21/01/25) and I felt deeply uncomfortable and disrespected by the way one particular lady treated us. Her behavior was VERY RUDE, loud, and dismissive. The lack of communication and professionalism was incredibly frustrating, especially when she asked for my name and date of birth to locate our appointments. I answered her clearly several times. However, she kept asking for my name as if I hadn’t already provided it. I explained that Cristina is my middle name, not my first name or surname, but she repeatedly insisted it was my first name, even after I corrected her multiple times. She made strange, dismissive facial expressions throughout, which only added to my discomfort.

Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, she refused to listen. I remained patient at first, but her condescending attitude made it increasingly difficult to stay calm. I showed her my appointment confirmation, which clearly displayed my correct details, yet she still claimed she couldn’t find us in the system.

When I mentioned that my doctor had sent an email requesting the blood test as part of my ongoing fertility treatment, she refused to look at it, saying, “I don’t want to see your email.” I suggested if she could contact the fertility clinic (located in the next building) to verify the request. She refused again, saying the clinic was closed. Her outright refusal to assist us was unacceptable, especially as this blood test is essential for my medical treatment. Her behavior completely ignored my needs and wasted our time, causing me unnecessary stress and anxiety, something I am supposed to avoid during fertility treatment.

To make matters worse, I witnessed her being rude to another patient before my appointment, indicating a pattern of unprofessional behavior. When I told her I would file a formal complaint, she laughed at me and sarcastically said, “Yes, yes, do that. I don’t care.” This response was appalling and only added to my distress. I left the hospital without completing my blood test, feeling ignored, disrespected, and incredibly stressed.

I want to be clear that this review is not reflective of Hammersmith Hospital as a whole. I have always had excellent care there, and the doctors and fertility treatment team are exceptional. However, the behavior of this particular staff member from the blood test team was unacceptable.

Patients deserve to be treated with respect, empathy, and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive medical issues. I urge the hospital to address this issue to ensure no one else has to endure such treatment.

If I have the money for private health care, I definitely go foenit !
Despite seeing NHS stuff arriving late and so then your appointment is later then it should be they keep chatting away so we all have to wait when they finally call patients.
If I turn up late for work I definitely would be less of money but I guess NHS stuff still gets paid Jo matter what time they arrive .
Some people working and really expecting their appointment to be on time
We don't ha e time to sitting around in hospital.
Is there any chance to improve this
Not fair on patients !!!
