We have just been moved to this surgery and I really don’t understand why they’re general rating on here is just over 2 stars. The receptionists are helpful and friendly , we’ve no problem getting appointments if needed urgently the doctors and nurses are friendly, caring and actually listen to you. I am very happy with our new surgery.

I've always managed to get an appointment when I've needed to in the past.

A couple of teething issues with turning up to an appointment but not having anything on the system (but managed to get an appointment same day later in the afternoon).

Special shout out to Dr Davidson, for his holistic and thorough approach.

Thanks for all the hard work, appreciate you guys are under huge amounts of pressure (admin team and medical).

I call at 08:00, the usual "we are experiencing more calls than usual" answer phone message plays, I'm already 16th in a queue for a phone line that opened seconds ago. They are inundated.

I get an appointment for my daughter straight away. Although as I write this we still haven't been seen 40 minutes after our appt, no one has let us know they are behind and there is no receptionist at the desk to speak to to find out how much longer.

Of course, the issues underlying all of this, lie with politicians and are not the responsibility of the surgery, but a heads up on delays etc should be given to patients.

Previously had great care here for a gnarly chainsaw induced wound, and I never have issues with getting to see a GP for the kids.

Awful service. It takes absolutely ages to speak with someone (that most often than not doesn't have the answer you need). I finally managed to get through today (was caller #10, and on hold for nearly 40minutes). When I finally got through I briefly explained what the problem was and was put on hold. Less than a minute after they simply hang up the phone. 40 minutes wasted and now I'll have to do it all over again

Almost impossible to obtain an appointment. Repeat prescriptions online often not processed. Complaints ignored. Used to be great in the days of Drs. Bellamy and Milner. But in recent years I cannot imagine a more incompetent "surgery".

This practice is one of the best practice in the UK. They are able to prioritise the patients on the basis of severity. Able to arrange the appointment for same day, waiting on phone is long but there is option to hang up and practice call you later and you do not loose the que. Overall I am happy from the practice always got better care. We have need this practice for more than 1 year.

AVOID at all cost ive been registered at 4 didn't doctors this is by far the worst one. My Wife is pregnant and needs to see the doctors, and has been waiting for 2hours on hold before being cut of, and can't call back because its now just gone past 1 and you can't book a appointment past 1. so if you need the doctors for an emergency good look to you. Plus when I'm in the doctors the receptionist are in the back room gossiping ignoring the phone, but the doctors and nurses have been fine.

Worst doctors around. Staff are rude, unsympathetic and bang on about how hard it is to work for the NHS. Receptionists are all rude. No point calling them as you will never get through. They tell you there’s no appointments available and then if you turn up there there’s no one waiting in the waiting room. Dr Pickerell (senior partner) supposedly needs to have a word with the staff with the way they talk to patients! Witnessed one of the nurses who takes the blood tests shout at a woman today and even made her cry! Absolutely no need for it! If you want to express how you feel about the NHS and your job do it to your boss not your patient.
