Some of the receptionists are like robots , they don’t listen all they know is ring at 8.30am . My clock said 8.30am so I rang for an appointment for my partner who was quite ill, there was literally 1 minute to go she refused to speak to me told me to ring back at 8.30am, I explained it was 830am she said no it isn’t 1 minute to go by this time, I’m afraid I lost my temper and put the phone down on her. It’s frustrating enough trying to get an appointment with a doctor without some of the receptionists not using their common sense!!.

I have been at this practice for about 30 years and now I’m going to leave as the practice has gone down in my opinion with some of receptionists who obviously are rude, no common sense., yet some other receptionists are very helpful..

My partner spoke to the same receptionist who said to him she was going to report me?, it’s her that needs reporting for being a completely incompetent!.

I would rather give someone a good review instead of a bad one, but I am still fuming over this, hence why I’m going to change Doctors after all these years!..
Some of the Doctors are wonderful to, but I will not be treated like an idiot by a young girl on the reception!.

Excellent, caring understanding. Dr's Palin, knight, Mcauliffe and especially Dr Lake are the most understanding compassionate doctors I have ever come across. I would highly recommend this health Centre. I can't thank them enough for all they've done for me and my family.

Nicola and staff hung up on 3 different occasions. The third time I got angry the first two they claimed I was also angry. The thing is these are trained professionals that can't deal with people and yet are trusted with there health. Absolutely shocking they should all be sacked. If being offended is more important than people's health your in the wrong trade!

Absolutely terrible doctors you can never ever get an appointment, I’ve got no legs and I’m due to infections yes I still can’t get the tablets that I need at the time. I wouldn’t even give them one star.

I thought repeat prescriptions were automatically sent out, kinda like a direct debit, I'm on meds permanently, had nothing but trouble with my meds/prescriptions, gone to pick my meds up from the chemist, the chemist haven't received the prescription..........really not happy, totally cocked my day up, absolute joke they are!!

For the last few months I have been very impressed, Dr Lake was very understanding and reassuring. Emma on Reception went out of her way to help me when I needed a fit note urgently. This is a huge improvement from 12 months ago, however, the appointment system is still in need of serious overhaul. Phoning for an appointment is almost impossible, but the e-consult system works well.

On Sunday my son developed a very sore throat...after 30 min of dialing repeatedly I became number 15...another 40 min wait to get to number 1 and be told all appointments are gone. This morning he is worse and I thought the same cannot happen twice...it did.

How moronic is it to keep people waiting for 40 min for no appointments. Just cut the call and you know there is no help available to you and its no use wasting your time.

Unacceptable.

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful when trying to secure an appointment for my elderly mother, having been through the 111 and walk-in centre route to no avail.
The GP was lovely and acted fast, making an urgent referral to the hospital.
We were also kept updated on test results where there were concerns.
